Can I ride to this, or is it steak and beer night, which means no riding? Edit: I know I CAN ride to it, but is this typically like QSL night where there's zero to just minimal drinkage, as most people ride, or is it not that way. I've never been to Whitehall.

I'll take the fender eliminator, so I can put a license plate on it, and I've heard these manuals are good to have... I might regret it, but I think I'll skip the seat for now...

Could you sell your 4 year old laptop for even 50% of what you paid for it, though? That's got to be factored somewhere. This Mac was about 2 years old, got it for around $900, and spent $0 upgrading to OS X 10.6 earlier this year. Granted, this was with the education discount, which saved me $100 or so. Meeting somebody this morning to sell it for agreed upon CL price of $750. This is without AppleCare.

They're not lies, though. Unless they get fried, dropped, or broken, they never break. I wouldn't buy a white plastic macbook again, but these aluminum ones are beasts.

Nope, Macbook is still here, discounted to $550 just so I can officially have a good day. Lexus sold at full asking price, Vstar just a few hundred off asking price, so I'm willing to dump the macbook.

I took it over 6k myself, thanks. Yes, it means Gary already sold it. We had some issues with timing, and he had somebody standing in his driveway with cash, whereas I wasn't going to be able to be there until next week, so he sold it. No ill feelings, though. My Lexus sold quicker than I thought, which just coincided, and things kinda just fell together today when I went to IP, I saw Hoblick's bike. (Actually, I didn't, Moose pointed it out to me, I'm trying to sell my vstar for $3500, they gave me a cash offer for it of $3200, I got the VFR for a great price, so I jumped on it. I think I got a great bike, and at a "moose love" price.

Uh, yeah. It's been fun. I've actually ended up about $1500 ahead, too. I'm taking next season off from new purchases, though.
