81 Suzuki GS850GX touring model. Basically all stock - no performance mods, just some new carb parts. Ohio State Buckeye theme. Scarlet & Gray paints from Sherwin Williams. All officially licensed graphics from Conrad's & Buckeye Corner (I don't need any copyright hassles). Tank is silver to coordinate with the football helmets. Seat reupholstered by Buckeye Unlimited LLC, Columbus Oh. Mods to come are matching fender, Old Skool Vetter Mark VI fairing w/lowers, Vetter saddlebags, chrome luggage rack and short sissy bar. They're still being painted but should be on by next week.

If you get a 22 get a loooooong barrel for accuracy, otherwise you never know where it;s going to go.

Thanks Wheezle. The one by iron Pony has one for a car where the spring is exposed, but I'm doing and old skool GS850G with DOHC and that kind won't work since the springs are inside the head. Maybe I'll try the one by my office tomorrow and see what they say. Thanks again Jim

I called the one by Iron Pony and they said no. Tried Advanced Auto but they don't have one for a bike. What part of town are you on?

Does anyone in the Westerville (or Columbus) area have an overhead valve spring compressor I could beg, borrow, or steal? I'm sending a DOCH four banger head out to be milled and I need the valves removed. There's no place to rent these things from and I can't see buying one just for this one job. I'll need the valves removed then when I get the head back I need to replace the valves. I can come to you, or you can come to me, whatever. Give me a shout if you can help out. Thanks Jim

If you have a blank, Roush Hardware at the corner of State St & Schrock Rd in Westerville. They have an old skool key machine and if you have a blank they can cut it for $1.00. That's where I had my spare cut. I bought a blank on eBay and had them cut it. (State St is a.k.a. Rt 3 or Westerville Rd)
