Still for sale? Let me know
-
So glad to see the photos of the car. I love the layered Aluminum trim. It is pretty rare and just does something a little different that I like. Not many company’s can even do that. I can’t wait to get off my ass and get one this summer myself. Looking for you and seeing a few special ones around makes me want to pull the trigger so bad, but the newborn addition has slowed me some so we know we are in a good spot. Hate to give up the Avant, but stage 2 B8.5 S4 makes it easy to forget it. Thanks for the kind words and don’t forget to bring it by my work some day.

I got mine from Craigslist. Guy was in Marysville and worked in IT. I wanted a 4 post one but I ended up making a 2 post work. Willing to swap if you find a 4 post and want a 2 post.

Just like the title says. My boss is looking for a dual sport or enduro. Hasn't found anything worth buying yet. Let me know if you know someone looking to sale.

I use the B&O H8's I won from Audi last year a good deal. I will say I don't use them as much as I should but I need to remember how the controls on the side work so I left the stickers on them. Might check on E-bay and other sites as a lot of Audi people got them and then sold them for cash. Since I didn't pay for them and I wanted wireless/Bluetooth Noise Canceling for mowing and travel I just keep them. Link Below

I've watched Shrek so this. Don't rush it and let the glue setup well. Also make sure you use the right glue(I'm sure the kit has the right stuff. Also alcohol is to release the glue from the panel.

6x9 suck from a size and sound point of view. Get a panel that fills the whole and you can put a 6 or 6.5 driver inside. It will sound much better.

They are put on backwards due to the engine are in the back. The short arms go towards the engines. Why is it backwards on the lift? I assume towed in because it no worky? -

Well I don't remember what all we had to do to it, but it was here at MAG last month getting work done. So I guess we where able to get it running.

Thanks again for everyone here allowing me to help and be the go to person for everyone's Audi needs. As many have talked about I do love the new DSGs a lot, but for now all three cars we currently own are all manuals and all in the VW/Audi group. :fuckyeah:

You are missing the best way to get the car bugging you moved. Call into the dealership asking about that car. Use google/online numbers to call in. Also maybe e-mails too. He will pull them back to the lot for test drives.

This is the way to do it! Have you not seen or driven the car yet? When I purchased a car out of state I sent my payment with the transport company. They handed that over for the title, loaded the car and brought both back to me.I would myself fly down do everything in person and then drive the car to a transport company's office or pick up area and fly back. If planed right it would be a same day round trip and depending on where in Florida it wouldn't be that much. Seller might even pay half just to have it done right and not worry.

Shit I just was reading the reviews and it doesn't look good. It seems to have gas cap issues and with my hill mowing doesn't seem like a good deal.

I think I'm going to bump up the budget if I'm buying something new unless someone has something that is a smoking deal. I saw this at home depot for 1,000. Seems like what I want, but buying new bumps the budget up.

Anyone else have some input or know where to look at last year models or something.

You can see the person next door does the same.you know, I'm no lawn care expert, but when I was a kid, my grandparents kept a camper on lake Erie all summer. It sat on the edge of a hill and there was probably a 30' drop down to the lake where the boats launched from. I asked my dad how the grass going down the hillside was always mowed short, as it would be a huge PITA to mow up/down. he told me that mowing hills, you mow sideways.from what I'm reading here, it sounds like everyone is thinking you should be mowing up/down. I feel like it'd be a hell of a lot easier mowing it sideways.

im hoping so. The next door lot was mowed with a zero turn, but that isn't in the budget. I was thinking with a regular rider it might be to top heavy. I hope you are right. It really doesn't look that steep from the pics. Once they smooth n did it out you shouldn't have any problem using a riding mower on it or push if you like -
Yeah I know, but we aren't thinking of moving any time soon.I shudder at the thought of the price of a retaining wall/walls there. I know what I was quoted for a tiny one.... -
S8+? :gabe:I put 1k miles on my h/c/I vette last year. And 10k miles on my v when I had it and 10k miles on my Audi. You will enjoy having four doors, and the ride of the v is amazing for daily usageI loved my caddy. My advice is to get the v and mod it. I a, almost certainly parting ways with my vette this summer, and either getting another vette, or something else with four doors that is fast. Specifically, I'm waiting for gm to throw the 10 speed autos in the c7z

Is it a reasonable thing to level off the back yard with a retaining wall? create a "lower level" gathering/sitting/outside fire pit area?
Expensive option, but better than that back yard as is...
Yeah that is also been a topic also, but nothing planed out yet.

Also the builder is going to be sodding the whole thing as they are still going to smooth out everything they can, but I know they are not going to fix the slope much. So that will fix the erosion part. It will look a lot like the lot next to ours. The side load 3 car garage pushed it back more then we wanted, but it was the only way to get it approved in the whole neighborhood. The wife's best friend connects to the side yard next to the house so the location worked. We also thought about half way up or something doing a large deck to flatten it out some also.
