I'm curious, how many times people have track days in the novice group before moving to intermediate?

Wow, what a day. Started slow at first but then got a hang of it and really started moving. What a thrill! It's like heroin: one doze and you're addicted. Scheduling another track day later this summer. Note to myself: need to get a real sports bike K1300S is too heavy for a track despite being very comfortable, smooth and damn quick on a straight.

No pics (camera crapped out) . No traffic, nice scenery, good pavements, interesting sweepers, no cops observed. 275 miles. Will do it again this week (in reverse direction).

Decided to intro myself since I've been lurking here for some time. Northeastern Cincinnati suburbia's the place where I live, BMW K's the bike. Looking for riding buddies as all of my friends do not ride and still think I'm nuts riding having two kids and stuff.

I'll be there on the 7th as well (hey, my first post!). I don't have a racing suit, my leather jacket and riding textile pants don't zip together (different manufacturers), so I rented leathers. Any idea what kind of suits they rent? How do they usually fit? Should I come earlier to take care of the leathers renting procedure and putting it on? I will be arriving on the night before from Cincinnati and will be staying at a local hotel. I will be towing my bike in (will have to rush back home after the track, so rushing riding it home for 3 hours on the superslab after whole day of riding does not excite me). Should I bring the truck with the bike to the track or leave it at the hotel and ride the bike to the track from the hotel? Is there enough/allowed parking for these things at the track?
