  1. Carried a LC9, Have fired the Kel-Tec PF-9... I like the Kel-Tec there is a aftermarket for .22 barrels and slide for about $150 so you can have your EDC be a plinker too (which is good since 9mm is harder to find than a good girl)

Glock 26 has a good feel with the pinky extension. But I HATE how fat it is.

The DB9 is super light weight and feels good, minus the flat grip.

If you dont mind a flat grip I would look at the Bersa BP9cc. It feels great, solid and good weight. The Trigger pull and reset are the best out of any I have pulled... put a Houge Grip on it call it a day for under $450

  2. Gander Has a Black Stock, Black Barrel 10/22 right now in Reynoldsburg for $250... No BX-25 mags tho.

I havnt seen any used, If your wanting to do a Archangle set up or another bull pup variant. They have a few in Ohio on ArmsList for about $500

    Hope this helps.

  3. Are we at that point yet? That hi-cap mags are going to be pulled off the shelves soon? I have about a dozen AR mags but with my 2nd carbine almost complete I would like to have some more on hand, I'd really like about 5 more 30 round pmags, do I need to run out and pick them up while I still can? What about 20 round ones? Are they in danger of being illegal too or are they going to be impossible to find after 30rndrs are illegal and everyone needs something else?

I am to young that the last AWB didn't effect me and I don't know how things were to know what to expect.

On a side note walmart is completely out of every type of .22lr ammo, is this because of the shit happening or just because of the Xmas shopping season?

    Reynoldsburg Walmart still had .223

  4. Go get a freeze kit OTC, then use it. After it is frozen pretty well. Take a scalpel, exacto knife, razor blade and cut thin layers off. when you start to feel the cut stop there. If need be repeat freezing.

I had one like you are talking about. This is the only thing that got rid of it. It has not came back in 3 years.

I bought this scope just over a year ago. I mounted it on my Marlin 60. Going a different route with the Marlin. This scope has Military Reticule that is illuminated either Red or Green. Clean Scope, Works fine, held zero perfectly on my Marlin.

Also includes Redfield Scope Rings 1" 3/8 ($14.99 from Vance's)

Here are the details and Spec on the Scope

    $40 or make an offer

    GUN IS NOT FOR SALE

  6. Depends on the car. Newer EFI cars, your fucked. Older Carbetators... maybe fucked. Depends on if it kills the starter. Battery, Alternator should all be good.

There are ways to prep for that. But if SHTF I'm down with humping it. I'll find food and water

  7. Held a Smith & Wesson Shield in 9mm today at Vances... Damn did it feel good!! (Compaired to the LC9, PF9, P11, P9 and P40)

I wanted to get one of the Kel-Tecs in 9mm because you can by .22 conversions for them for cheap fun on the range and plunking around.

    Kel-Tec P11 $269

    T.I .22 conv $199

=~$470 for one gun, two calibers.

    Smith & Wesson Shield = $370-$440 for 9mm or .40

Depends on what else you want to do with it I guess

  8. Ruger LCP

*Ruger LC9 (this is my ccw for now, looking at getting a Kel-Tec pf9 or p11 here soon)

    *Kel-Tec pf9

    Kel-Tec p11

    *Kahr pm40

    *Kahr pm9

    -* Weapons I have Shot

The weapons I have shot all felt about the same. I personally like 9mm in a small gun, 40 seems a bit to hoppy for me to enjoy at the range.

They are all similar in size and close in price, except the Kahr they can be a bit more.

  9. I just was at "The Gun Store" in Old Hilliard. They had a few Marlins in there. Used at $125 and newer models at $150. The newer ones are pretty much the same, except are magazine feed not tube feed like the older 60. Mine is tube feed, I love it. 17+1 compared to the 10+1 Magazines for them. If you are planing on taking out a whole herd of zombie squirrels and racoons I may suggest a Ruger 10/22... they sell hi-cap mags for them.
  10. For a good "cheap" .22 look for a Marlin 60 or Gleenfield 60 on armslist.com or Gunbroker or where ever else. I have one that was my grandfathers and is 50-60 years old. I cleaned it up and have never had a jam. Only issue is the bolt doesn't lock back on last shot.

I know you can find these for about $100-$125 used.

  11. There was a increase of radiation all along the western seaboard about a month ago. They think it was due to all the water that was dumped on the nucular reactors to keep them cool in Japan. It evaporated and made its way here. Not high enough levels to be alarmed about I guess. Maybe this is tied with that...?
  12. I'm reading more about scavengers in this thead than people stocking up. Stocking up is only good if you are safe to stay where your stock pile is. Otherwise, you're on the move to get some place safe. Take what you can with you and get all you can along the way. Unless you have a bunker type set up, anything over 30-60 days worth isn't worth it to me. That will get you through the bad storm that hit, which is the more likely event Vs shit hit the fan.

Exactly, If I can fit it and maybe 2 others in a Medium SUV. I am not prepping it. I will get what I need on the way. I will have some food. Prob a 6-8 weeks worth of MREs and the what not.
