  1. I was having issues with a KelTec "Zimmerman Special" was having ejection issues (giggity) and called them up. They sent me a parts kit for the whole slide, minus a barrel. Replaced all the parts, no issues after that. They did it all for free. I do enjoy KelTec and their CS.
  2. Been playing through my 4th play through of Skyrim this week trying to get excited for ESO coming out in two weeks. Is any one here going to be picking it up for casual play? Everyone i used to play FinalFanatsyXI with has switched over to League of Legends (gay).

Who will be picking it up?

  3. Update:

So the past couple weeks I have tried different things.

-I have hydrated to the point of pissing every 45min to an hour. This did not improve the pain.

-Ive stretched warm and cold muscles differently. Stretching the warm muscles brought on the pain much quicker.

    -I have tried different shoes

-Putting cups/risers in my shoes. Hurt more, so..

-Tried changing how I run, less running on my toes and more flat footed. Helped a little.

What has helped is Targeted Compression Sleeves, I can run close to a mile now before the immobilizing pain comes. This is better than the 1/4mi-1/2mi I was getting before the pain came.

What puzzles me, is why is it only when I run? I was in Vegas 2 weeks ago where I walked 30 miles one day, my feet were sore of course but no calf pain. Its like once my calf gets worked, it doesnt stop hurting till I quit moving. I just returned from a run where I got about 0.86 miles then the pain kicked it. I walked the 0.86mi home and it hurt the whole way. As soon as I sat down it went away, not a bit of pain.

I start physical therapy this week for my back with the VA. I have read up on all sorts of calf pain. Apparently kinds of Compartment Syndrome are very common among those who have served in the military. So I will start talking to the VA to have it looked into further.

BTW: Dont tell someone not to YouTube something... I will YouTube it and now have nightmares lol

  4. Ok, Ill look into fleetfeet and having my arches checked and all that goes along with it. Hopefully Ill be able to figure out if the shoes I am using are any good. Currently using the New Balance 880 and Adidas Duramo 6. Both have flatish soles.

My next run will be tomorrow, I will drink as much water as I can up until then starting now. I am also going to eat more bananas. BMWOHIO I am also going to try a warm up before stretching.

Brandon, I hate running and agree, its stupid. I will get back on the bike aswell. But the reason for running is, I got called by the Air Force a few weeks ago, asking if Id be interested in signing back up. The job that I would be offered required a little bit more running than just the 1.5mi test. What pissed me off is the only thing that would hold me back, cause me to fail is my physical condition, the lack of being able to run and being a a bit heavier than 170lbs. I just want to be at a place where if they call again, I can say yes or no on my own, not no because I can not pass the requirements. This goes for the upcoming CPD testing as well.

  5. Okay, so I have started running again after taking a 4 year break (give or take 6 months). It sucks.

While running I am experiencing severe pain in my calves, something worse than cramping it feels. Like, my whole lower leg beneathe the knee seizes. I loose mobility and run with "fixed" ankles. Imagine how Gumby would run, a stiff shuffle. It is worse in my left leg than my right and starts at about 1-1.25 miles. I keep running, because walking brings on the pain.

This problem is not new, it started when I would run distances greater than 2miles about 4 years ago.

I am wondering if anyone has experienced this. If not does anyone know of a good coaching service or nutritionist in the Columbus are for runners. My end goal is to be able to run about 15 miles continuous.

My current training to try to return to running is the Couch to 5k program to start.

    Thanks for any help.

  6. Seen his car at the Columbus Auto Show (Looks like a bag of smashed assholes), but anyway I was telling my girlfriend the stories of Lead Free ECUs stopping it from being able to run, then working on projects for NASA. She asked "Is it fast?" I lol'd and told her at its unveiling party it had to be pushed in and that it couldn't move under its own power. After saying that the CTD guy looming in the corner came over and assured me it runs under its own power and is the most powerful Lambo in existence. I aksed why it hasnt beat a UGR car yet or why there is no video of it posted making big numbers or out running a UGR car. He said, "Well tunning takes time, making a 2000+ hp car isnt something done overnight." He assured me they drove it from the truck to the showroom floor and it makes power. I asked how much... "1200 wheel at 14lbs" "With those numbers and it running full boost it will be the most powerful Lambo, making more power than UGR cars"

I ended up saying "Good luck with all that, hopefully it will be able to run at TX2K16 Instead of sitting at the Columbus Auto Show" He said it will be done and running in some PTSD charity here in Ohio in June/July.

I said, good luck and left.

  7. Thank you for building a realistic use AR. Just the rear sight by itself, makes such a huge difference in use over 90% of the ARs I see. I have one built to the same specs that I carried in country also. My next build will be much the same, but focused on light weight and will run flip up front and the same rear sight, with a micro dot.

Yeah, I like/trust a solid front sight. If I do a longer barrel I'll prob go with a flip up front sight, because Ill more than likely run a scope. This will just have a EOTech XPS2.

Dang, I just sold one two weeks ago!

I was going to nudge you to buy one but I didn't want to seem too forward.

The only place I see them in stock is Amazon. And its about $12 more. I can wait till it comes down. Let me know if you come across a black MOE SL Stock

Hope you got in on BCMs recent sale, free BCG and comp too if you bought 16"

Lookin good, never really loved the matech sights though. Especially when dat spring wears out and the fucker SPROINGs up unexpextedly getting caught on shit.

Sure did :) It came with the BCG, since I did the 14.5 Barrel with a pinned A2X Flash Hider, I had to pay for that ~$45 for it and for it to be pinned.

I have seen them wear out. In 6 years mine never had an issue, but if it does they sell all the parts for repair.

I think the shortest handguard I own is 9.5 and it feels tiny in my enormous hands/reach!

I dont know what has shorter arms, me or a t-rex. So I have no need for a long handguard. They do look cool when the barrel only extends a inch or so.

  8. So I have been looking for an AR for a while now, was about to buy right when Sandyhook happened. With the panic that was came, I decided to wait to buy one. Prices were more retarded than Paul.

My Goals were to build one that was similar to the m4 I used while in the military, same sights and size. I will hopefully use it in some rifle competitions this spring/summer and in a 3 Gun Match.

Here are the pictures and the build:
