  1. Ya, ive got one just to go to the gas tank which I can use. I still need another, and preferably the same size hole so my synch reading is accurate. RSV Don is right. I think tonight i'm going to drill a hole in a bolt and see if I can fit my hose on it. If it works i'll get back to you.
  2. That was funny as shit. It was an obvious sarcastic post. I choose not to believe it, and think that the writer of it is probably hilarious instead.
  3. It's ok though, didn't you hear- he said "that affects us here, in Metro Atlanta". Don't worry guys, we're in ohio. "O.T.M.s- other than mexicans. Including hundreds from nations that sponsor terror!" lol Does this include our sick accounts of sponsored terror over the course of a 100 years in numerous different countries? lol. Television will be television.
  4. Thanks! It's nice to see such an active regional forum
  5. I know 2 strokes can have it rough when holding an RPM for a long time. That isnt quite what those motors are for, but if you are cruising around Kent, i'm sure you'll be fine. The four strokes are much more ready to handle highway speeds for a little longer. This is simply from hear say though, take what I have to say with a grain of salt. Living in Kent during the school year, ive also thought about how nice itd be to have an enduro type bike . Sometimes a full sized motorcycle is a bit much for that area if you live right in town. It is nice for bypassing all those bullshit stops around lincoln though. I know if I hear a loud ass dirtbike cruising around, it'll probably be you. I'll be on the green and white honda F2, though probably not taking it to class as much considering i'll be living right on Vine street next semester. Can't wait. Good luck. Let us know how it turns out in another build thread maybe. I am very interested in the process- Ive thought a lot about trading my F2 for an enduro recently.
  6. those are sweet. "Yes, i'll have a glass of your finely aged ham sammich, please."
  7. I don't know anything about bleeding brakes. That is what I had done at my last ever trip to a mechanic. Everything from now on is my doing. I googled some brake bleeders though and it definitely looks like a posibility. As long as it snugly fits into my vacuum ports, it should work. It doesn't have to thread in, it just has to be air tight and by no means permanant. If those brake bleeder tips are generally rubber, it could work. I would feel more comfortable buying them in person to be sure it is compatible though. Do they carry such a device at advanced auto perhaps? Thanks for the quick, helpful reply
  8. I have the ddm 55w 5000k kit in mine. I don't worry about high or low beam anymore. I can't see any sort of color. Just a perfect white. The upgrade from 1992 stock headlights was incredible. I am very pleased with the ddm kit.
  9. I am trying to find the little things (i think 5mm) that screw into your carburetor vacuum port holes and have a nozzle for a hose to attach to. I made my own carb synch tool, and am now finding out how hard it is to get just the carb synch adapters without buying a whole 50-$100 carb synch kit. They must have the market rigged. Ive called three honda dealerships who have denied me the individual part. All I want to do is synch my carbs Anyone ever use a rubber type seal for carb synching? I am thinking about just buying some stock bolts that my manometer will fit on and try drilling out the center of them. I will not give in to what I suspect is a stupid and cruel marketing scheme. Any info is much appreciated.
  10. That's rough. I'm driving the same bike and I know I will be doing exactly what you're doing if I get in an accident. Don't worry about it though, you can make some mean looking F2 streetfighters. Check out the F2 forums on cbrforum.com. There are some really useful posts about swapping tails out and whatnot. Great step by steps. Good luck. Can't wait to see how it goes. I'll be looking for pointers
  11. Hello there. I'm a new rider. I have only been on the road for about 2 years. I just recently saw something about this site while browsing the regional section on cbrforum.com. I don't really have any other friends who are into bikes enough to own one, so I haven't done any sort of group riding yet. I figured here, I could probably get in on something . I'll send in for a sticker soon, so look for me out and about. I'm around the middlefield-chardon area now. When the semester starts i'll be in the Kent-Stow area. I ride a 1992 Honda F2. I love it. See you on the road.
