What would you recommend for steering upper(header) bearings? I will probably go with tapered rollers over ball, but I was just wondering if you had any suggestions on good brands.
I'm really looking forward to getting some riding in this season and am on track to getting my bike back to stock condition. I'm starting my pre-season workout / training tomorrow as I just bought a gym membership yesterday. I'm also looking in to a helmet cam but that's another conversation in itself.

practice on back roads and parking lots until your MSF course. you will still learn quite a bit once the course comes along, and it will be easy for you to break any bad habits you have accrued over the last few months. and +1 to not jumping on the 636 right off the bat. gs500 will be your best buddy.

as much as i hate the look, after a few hours of my 6'6 self sitting on the stock sv650s seat and pegs, i am dreaming about the ability to stretch out like that...

seems like everywhere is wanting 3-5 years base experience these days, even for "entry level" positions. damn you 35 year olds all getting laid off! seems like it would be a fairly interesting job though. too bad i majored in graphic design.

hmm, well i hope to have a job in graphic design / advertising within the next few months, but with the way things are looking right now for recent graduates, it might be a while also, first post! had to happen somewhere i guess.
