  1. most black friday deals the past few years are a complete waste of time if you're shopping for a primary HD TV. The "great deals" are most always very low end models so unless you're buying as a secondary/kids tv don't waste your time and effort you can find similar deals the rest of the year just watching normal sale adds. Most people after those deals are looking at the cost and size not the actual specs(refresh rate, contrast ration, 720p/1080p, amount of inputs available, internet features.. etc) of the tv's.

  2. I've always used over sized latex pillows much like the memory foam kind but softer and more porous though they are never cheap ranging anywhere from $60-$120 and aren't usually easy to find but JCPenny usually has a few available.

  3. Damn it! Beat me to it. I was thinking of being more of an ass about it though. Carry on... :D

Edit: "Sodder" is one who lays sod; "Sauder" is a village in Northwest Ohio that explores life in the 1800s. "Sauder" also makes furniture of varying quality. Couldn't resist.

This has pure entertainment... I work at "Sauder" and somebody already beat me to it..

  4. Are you there now? One of the places that just take your breath away and are a must do. We were just there Aug 12th through the 18th and did most of the trails in my Ridgeline except Black Bear Pass / Imogene Pass due to losing a sway bar end link that broke a wheel speed sensor and Poughkeepsie Gulch due to not being part of a group and not having winch like suggested. Didn't feeling like tempting fate :D

  5. has anyone checked the actual bike out at any of the IMS? It has some very interesting design concepts and I feel its aimed more at the daily commuter and the occassional weekend adventure with the DCT and ABS. The gas tank is built into the subframe under the seat(gas cap under passenger seat), the "traditional tank area" is actually lockable storage large enough to stow a full face helmet and a bit more. Not to mention it's priced pretty well also.

  6. They won't let me enter $0.0001 into my online bill pay.

If you read the comments I spend most of my time defending the cop - just wished he'd have been more polite. But some of the commenters out there are just nasty. I delete multiple comments a day that say things like; "You should just shoot that cop in the face" and stuff like that. I can't keep up any more.

Still, I stoke the fires every now and then buy fighting the anti-police sentiment - just winds them up more and they come back to post more rhetoric. = More hits, more adsense money.

    "You should murder that cop"

"Cops do a great job, just this one flunked PR 101"

"OMGWTFBBQ I'LL EAT YOUR BABIES FOR SAYING THAT!!!"

Trolling for Profit... I like it.. :D

  7. The bells are nice but I still prefer the Scorpion EXO-700(have two now) as I feel they are by far the best bang for your buck.. I can easily justify buying a nice new $150 helmet every other year and keeping the older ones as backups is a no brainer...but when you're looking at spending $300-600 that makes it a much harder decision IMHO.

  8. you can push off as you hit the start button and get it rolling and sync shift it through the mountians for 40 miles to a hill jack repair shop and get it fixed on a saturday evening for $35...ask me, gump, maxpower or casper how we know...

Sounds a lot like one of trips to the Gap on the FJR. Last trip through on a Sunday heading home by myself when I crashed, snapping clutch lever off up near the pivot. :o...

After hanging out with one of the Killboy photogs for an hour or so(and smoking half pack of cigarettes) I finally decided to try to get underway without the clutch and expected the 500 mile ride home was going to be one loooong complicated ride. Lucked out and found another remotely similar clutch lever at the 129 Motorcycle Pitstop. And borrowing some of their shop tools got it rigged so I would atleast have some clutch control the rest of the way home... I was ecstatic to say the least. :D

  9. just signed up for the CreditKarma.com someone else mentioned earlier.. decent site with some useful info and tools and no CC or bank accounts required so it really is "Free" (looks like its subsidized by lender offers)
