  1. Oh man, no insurance!!! That sucks, I was running the dyno all day. When Corey took over I was getting ready to leave when that happened. Thank god no one was standing out there.

  3. How fast can you go in 4th if you would rev it to 7000? When I had my RA gearset I would run 4th off the limiter and come through the traps at 112. But I was making less HP and TQ than you.
  4. Can we just sum this up and move on? I know I'm just adding fuel to the fire but here's what I've gathered. 1) Thorne and Liftedram98 doin't like each other 2) Thorne says x dyno reads high with "proof", yet he's ever used it 3) Thorne doesn't really tune the Subarus only GM's, Eric H does and that's why they had problems 4) Liftedram98 does not tune cars 5) Wiggs Lambo will probably never run again Neither side of the argument is helping our local shops.
  5. I just posted results on my own car. Back to back dynos with no changes in the tune. I can only come with math and science here. I'm not nearly as good as having "a bag of tricks" or posting some BS results from cars that I don't even own. Why don't you take your 6 figures and build something fast? When you do I'll slap your hands and give you credit, if not, I'll turn around and say forget it.

  8. I've always tune mine on winter blend, as close to 70% as I can get. I figure the slight change in A/F isn't much of a problem. I run a richer A/F on e70 anyways. There are plenty of ways to make the provision in the tune handle the slight change in the blends. I run a standalone (AEM) which helps. But there are other ways as well.

  11. Does it actually increase the 60-130 or 1/4 mile times? Or is it just a different reading on the dyno?
  12. When did this car start it's "official" build? One time I got screwed over waiting for machine work and it took over 6 months to get my car running. That was a LOOOOONNNNNG wait!

  14. Yeah, I got your PM. I've been 10's in mine with stock WRX axles. But I was running crappy Continental tires. Most of the time I would just turn down the boost and putt down the track running low 11's. Eric's car has all the power that it takes to run 10's. I was just saying it's VERY tough to put together a 10 second pass.
  15. Rear axles are a problem if you run drag radials. If you don't run drag radials it's hard to get a 10 second pass because it binds up when the tires spin and it's hard to grab the gears.
  16. How bout' them AXLES!!! ROFL, it takes a big set of balls to beat your car into a 10 sec pass.

  18. 1st impression on Bee Line was not the best. I had to explain and show them that my Mustang does in fact have IRS and not a solid axle. But we will see how the finished product is!

  20. Pretty sure the wheels are +45. Already have 3 people lined up. But you can PM in case it falls through. Here is a pic from last year with the wheels on the car. And as the socks go, if you buy that intercooler I'll throw them in for free. But they are pretty dirty.
