  1. Can we just sum this up and move on? I know I'm just adding fuel to the fire but here's what I've gathered.

    1) Thorne and Liftedram98 doin't like each other

    2) Thorne says x dyno reads high with "proof", yet he's ever used it

    3) Thorne doesn't really tune the Subarus only GM's, Eric H does and that's why they had problems

    4) Liftedram98 does not tune cars

    5) Wiggs Lambo will probably never run again

Neither side of the argument is helping our local shops.

  2. Also based on your compared dynos eather your car is sick or the load isn't turned up high enough to spool your turbo. Really not a good comparison.

Again I wasn't ragging on a shop I just stating my observations about your dyno.

I just posted results on my own car. Back to back dynos with no changes in the tune. I can only come with math and science here. I'm not nearly as good as having "a bag of tricks" or posting some BS results from cars that I don't even own.

Why don't you take your 6 figures and build something fast? When you do I'll slap your hands and give you credit, if not, I'll turn around and say forget it.

  3. I've always tune mine on winter blend, as close to 70% as I can get. I figure the slight change in A/F isn't much of a problem. I run a richer A/F on e70 anyways.

There are plenty of ways to make the provision in the tune handle the slight change in the blends. I run a standalone (AEM) which helps. But there are other ways as well.

  4. For the relatively nominal power gain at the wheels? I don't remember the exact #s but from memory Wiggs' car went from high 500s (58x?) AWD to low 600s (62x?) RWD.

Does it actually increase the 60-130 or 1/4 mile times? Or is it just a different reading on the dyno?

  5. Andy at Derek's NTB has done my vehicles and they have all been great. He even got my Damn cummins truck right so +1 for Derek's crew.

Also Beeline does a good job if you have all day to wait.

Where is Derek's NTB? I'm in need of an alignment for the Cobra.

EDIT - Nevermind, I just called Bee Line and they have an opening for today.

    Thanks!
