WTF do you think it is?
  7. There is so much win in this thread I feel like I am at the awards ceremony for the special Olympics!
  8. How much time do you have involved in the vB4 setup? I'm considering doing this on my forum, but the difference between vB3 and vB4 styling is holding me back.

    epic commute

damn...I wonder what those guys make/hour
  10. I'm a single guy, so I doubt POV pron would get me any movie deals...
  11. Trying to! I have some other uses for it that will be awesome!
  12. Brian, Thanks for the heads up. I'm not planning on anything above learning the basics at this point, and I'm hoping having someone physically show me how rebound, compression, etc. work on my bike. Not specifically tuning anything, but how and what each adjustment does, then I can fine tune them myself over a series of rides. I hope my location isn't confusing...I'm not in Columbus, but north east in Columbiana, south of Youngstown, near the PA border.
  13. Thanks for the reply. I'm not getting any real work done at this point, just trying to learn what I can about how the adjustments work. He states that he does work on both MX and Street, but more on MX than anything else. Can it hurt to just see what he suggests? I'm not dropping any coin at this point.
  14. Anyone ever used FCR Suspensions? From everything I gather, they are an MX suspension company, but they have a Street/Race listing on their website. I just called them and asked if they could take a look at my Speed Triple setup as I have zero knowledge of suspensions on motorcycles. The guy seemed friendly as heck, and told me to bring it over to him anytime and he'd explain everything to me and have a look at the bike. They are only about 10 minutes up the road from me, so unless anyone has any horror stories, I'm going to head over tomorrow after work and let him take a look at it http://www.fcrsuspension.com/
  15. These threads always amuse me. I run a Jeep forum with over 100,000 members and have to deal with this crap all the time!
  16. Did you blow a hard line or soft line? Soft line shouldn't take too long to fix.
  17. I only live about 1.5 miles from work, and no way my Speedy is sitting out in the rain! There is a VStar in the parking lot, but that guy sold his truck and that's all he has to ride until he finds something new.
  18. Youngstown Cycle will be holding their 2nd Annual Britishfest on October 2nd, 2010. Noon to 4pm. Pre-registers get a free event t-shirt! Check it out http://youngstowncycle.com/cms/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=17&Itemid=1
  19. as far as I know. Weather kinda sucks, but we are only about 25 minutes away. Me = Black Speed Triple buddy = black/silver vmax
  20. Yep! I have a bunch of stuff I want done over the winter.
  21. Found the link...looks like GSXR 1000 pegs are a direct fit. http://www.triumphrat.net/speed-triple-forum/136841-foot-pegs.html
  22. Well, I'm not sure where my info came from about the compatibility, but my CTC measurement is 2.75". Maybe newer GSXR pegs are different from the 05 mentioned above?
  23. You rock! Thanks for the pics! I'm just south of Youngstown, so I doubt I'll be down your way soon, but I plan on a trip to Iron Horse before the snow flies.
