  1. They take their shit seriously. It's a hoot to watch. They have leagues and brackets and point standings. Regular thing for the locals
  2. Yea just go for the PR4, in the long run if they are as good as they say the cost will off set with mileage.
  3. I have nothing bad to say about the T30 handleing, even in the wet. Rode2 days in the wet on twisty roads on the way to the gap last year. Only reason they are dicontinued is because they came out with the T30 EVO that are supossed to be better in the wet even though I had no problems with the originals. Far as I know they only changed the tread pattern not the compound.
  4. https://www.jakewilson.com/ always seems to have the best prices on tires, free shipping, no tax and fast delivery too.
  5. Give it one more bump with a price drop. $60 you pick it up at 43019
  6. I'd say over half the tires on the market are dual or triple compound now a days. All the ones I mentioned are too.
  7. Angel GT's were great for the rear on my bike but I would always cup the front. Usually got 5 to 6k out of a set. Never a slip or any water issues with them. Stones T30's running them now. Probably the best feeling tire I've ever ran and worn perfectly even and no cupping. But only got 3100 out of the rear. Front looks perfect after 4000 miles now. Felt good on water and I was confident as hell on them. Same ones I had at the gap last fall and you seen how hard I ran them. They are super cheap to buy too. I threw another rear on to get my milage out of my front for the next 3 or 4k miles. Going to go with the PR4 next. Have heard nothing but good out of them just never wanted to shell out for them be cause they are probably the most expensive option. But I have been told they are worth it. I know your little trumpet is not a road sofa like mine and you might have better luck with the others I mentioned.
  8. There is a Fiddie race at the the gap the Saturday we are there. I sent some of you a FB link to it. Need to go watch for sho this time.
  9. It would have to be on pare with the used market.
  10. Not uncommon at all. A lot of people buy them gut for the glory of saying they own a bike and never ride them. They are called garage queens. My wifes 07 that we bought 3 years ago only had 4500 miles on it at 6 years old. I know a guy that has a 01 gsxr with less than 9k on it, he just never rides it. With all those options out there is why I would NEVER buy a brand new bike
  11. If I ever get back out west I'm going to ride it. Nothing like a little clear your head staring out the visor time. I trailer ed to Colorado last time just because I went with family and we split the gas in the truck. And we went to Wyoming/SD a couple years ago on the bikes and that was a wonderful trip with great people I'd do again in a heart beat. Nothing more satisfying than talking to somone either on your trip or after your trip and being able to say "yea I did that, I rode out there". I'm not knocking the ones that want to trailer because it's not for everyone and with Joe taking 2 bikes out that is a awsome idea. Just saying everyone should do it at least once to be able to say they did it.
  12. Didnt say she couldn't lose weight just said her goals weren't obtainable. And the PT recommendation was for her to talk to some specialist doctors (which we did) and this is the course of action they/we decided on after a shit ton of testing and a lot of trial and error stuff. This wasn't a spur of the moment thing for her it's been a year and a half ordeal and thousands of dollars in medical bills just to decided this is her best option. Didn't think I needed to go on that kind of depth, and there are still things I will not disclose that were factors. All I was saying is it got kicked off by the PT pulling her to the side and giving her a heart to heart and telling her what she wanted to acieve wasn't going to happen. And with what we found out with all the testing probably saved her life.
  13. Target Fixation is the only thing I could come up with.
  14. We were eating lunch at a diner and it was thunder and lightening for a few min, 3 min later you couldnt see the parking lot due to a snow. Was at Menard's in Mansfield and as we were going in there where snow flakes the size of my hand. The one lady best described it as raining snow balls. Was in the store for bout 30 min and came out to bright sunshine and a rainbow. On the way home had to dodge trees in the road due to the strait line winds and its still blowing like a mother. Yea it's weird.
  15. Good thing this weather is flipping crazy up here today
  16. He didn't recommend the surgury just told her that her goals weren't obtainable with what she was doing or was able to do. Like I said too much info you don't know to assuming that.
  17. You obviously don't have enough information to make that statment. And I'm too polite to call anyone a idiot that I don't know.
  18. I'll be a maybe, see what the mrs has planned, let you know later today.
  19. Ive lost 30 lbs since Feb 15th. It's going to be more of a life style change than a diet this time. My wife who has always battled her weight and things just don't work for her(even a personal trainer told her that her goals were unobtainable giving her family history and genetics) has decided to opt for weight loss surgery. So with that her life style and what she can eat will greatly change. So she (we) decided why wait till she has the surgery, lets start now. And since she has to change everything I might as well too. My short term goal is to lose 50 lbs by the middle of May but not sure if ill get that low by then ill just keep on trucking along. Now when vacations and bike trips come I'm still going to enjoy myself and eat what I want but still cut back a little, kind of like a reward for all the work I put in.
  20. Works fine for me in my browser. It wouldn't work on tapatalk.
  21. The cheapest was $14 but I figured pay the extra $3 for priority It was like $18 to ship my nolan helmet to Texas snail mail
  22. Just cost me $17 to ship a gps with a bunch of mounts to Nebraska. Shipping rates have sky rocketed.
