I did turn the motor off in my car , you loose the power steering and power brakes, never shut the bike off though!

mine is a 89 model

Hyper-miling is where you use hills ,you put the bike in nutral and coast or you hold in on the clutch and coast down the hill I have actually went faster down hills in Tenn, KY, VA, and W VA the bike is at idle while you are moving at 65+

I get about 45mpg on my yamaha fj1200, then I hyper mile it so I can get up to 60 mpg hyper-miling.

89 Yamaha fj1200 gets about 45 . if you hyper mile with it you can get 55+ hyper-miling works great!

why we never see them they are to busy riding bikes on their world! HA HA!!

If they do I wonder how fast their bikes can go!
