  1. I find the attraction to magnets very repelling--depending on the N or S pole:-) No charge for this helpfull tip:-)
  2. 10M ammo is expensive. I bought a S&W 327 Magnum that fires 100 gr @ 1400fps. The 327 Ammo is more expensive to shoot than my S&W 1911PD 45 ammo. Just info but the fewer guns per caliber = more expensive ammo. I do like the 327 Mag as it has 6 rounds in the cyl as per 5 rounds in the 38+P.
  3. Wasn't me--haven't rode there since Fall but will be soon. What's needed for me to register for Friday's Nat'l Trails event? I saw several Audi S-8's at http://www.topgunrun.com on Mar 14th airstrip just 50 miles from Miami. Lot's of big $$ cars running--Lambo's, F-40, Viper's, Porche Turbo's, Nissan Skylines. Myself--I was riding in a Toyotoa Corolla:-)
  4. Thanks to everyone for all the nice comments. The in the house front office photo was a Winter project installing the Innovate Data Logger--DL32/LC1/XD16 combo. I also installed the ECU Flash wiring so I could remove the USB Power Commander & Fast FI module. During the engine & trans rebuild the USB PC3 & Fast Fi was reinstalled until I get a better handle on Fuel/Ignition Timing NOS tuning. Currently I only use the ECU Flash to increase Rev limit from 10,800 to 11,200, set engine kill to 50 ms for air shifter, & remove top speed restriction. Very few bike dyno tuning shops are up to speed on tuning using ECU Flash, most feel more comfortable with the Power Commander. It takes time to build confidence with new technology and ECU Flash eliminates lots of add on part sales. I'm & it's a work in progress:-) d
  5. :pThanks for the Welcome, attached are a few bike photos. http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh165/dvfeit/Darrell180mph.jpg http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh165/dvfeit/MaxtonJun28_08.jpg http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh165/dvfeit/DarrellJune29_08Maxton3.jpg http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh165/dvfeit/BusaWinterStorage.jpg That leather blue suit, boots, gloves, helmet total 14 lbs(it was 98 degrees in that photo--borderline heat stroke:-)
  6. Hello CR, My name is "D" & I ride a 2003 Harley Deuce & and 2006 Hayabusa. I am a member of Ohio Riders and have an interest in joining everyone at Nat'l Trails this coming Fri Apr 23rd. I occassionally run my Hayabusa at Pacemakers in Mount Vernon & have ran at Nat'l Trails a few times also. I'm not that hot at the launch but I love the rush & the track beats the highway anyday. No other traffic, road debri, police, and usually a Paramedic Wagon on site. My favorite is land speed racing on an old military airstrip in Maxton, NC. My top speed in the standing start one mile has been 193.6 mph. I just had the engine & trans rebuilt as it blew up shifting into 6th gear at 180 mph last Sept. I've added NOS for 4,5, 6th gears & the mixture was obvously incorrect:confused: Rebuilt, re-tuned, dyno'd at 176 hp on motor & 241 hp on NOS. Speaking of land speed racing--last Sunday at http://www.ecta-lsr.com Bill Warner ran his Hayabusa to a record 272 mph in the standing start one mile run. Turbo'd with adjustable stage boost that bike can run on the street without problems. I'll be looking for 210 mph May 22-23rd which should be a walk in the park compared to 272 mph--new one mile land speed record anywhere! Anyway about me--just a normal guy divorced after 23 yr marriage guy that can't grasp the maturity concept. I like pretty girls, bikes, & cars & that same sentence would apply if I replace the word "pretty" with the word "fast". http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh165/dvfeit/BusaGarage052909.jpg
