If Scott Brown goes down next, are they to blame? I could go on and on and on..... The political language, ( in my view the only protected speech) is full of references to killing, shooting murdering and targeting the opposition. And it has been that way since this country was founded and before.

Next up is the valve adjustment and fluid changes. Need a day warm enough to at least warm it up for the fluid changes, but the the valve adjust needs a cold engine - that won't be a problem today.

Installed new clutch and brake levers with reach and length adjustment in addition to being flip up in the event of a tip over. Very impressed with the way Guzzi designed the old ones. Bronze bushings in the pivot, set screw with lock tight to lock down the stroke adjust which was also sealed to prevent backing out. Top end components on this bike with careful assembly.

On the negative side, the government is broke. The state run stores make money for the state. But the state needs to trade the steady flow of income for a big lump of quick cash. Selling off the future for the immediate, but right now, there isn't much choice. On the positive side, the state run stores don't generage nearly the positive cash flow they could because the burocracy is bloated with all the extra patronage jobs created to payoff the campaign supporters. Making it private will at least slow that down although I imagine the winning bidder will owe some big debts to his government benefactors.

Yep, they have a reputation for running forever and the more you beat on them the more they like it. I credit the dry clutch in part for keeping grit out of the engine oil. 1st one I had didn't even break in until 12,000 miles and I put 50,000 on it with nothing but routine maintenance. Still runs like a top.

Little Switzerland tops the scenic rides for me. Rt 147 from the Ohio River to Seneca Lake will give you a good sample of the different terrains Ohio has to offer.

Can't say I stayed there but got a tour from the folks that run it including the crow's nest suite. Looked great and the roads were a relaxing journey. It was written up in one of the motorcycle mags. The "Ridin' Safe" training program wraps up its road class tour with a stay there.
