Well that's different, she was in an accident, granted it was not her fault, but I wasn't in an accident. I just bought a salvage bike. Also, is there a different between salvage and rebuilt in Ohio? Because my title says salvage I believe. Should I try to get this changed to rebuilt?

Well if your on ATT, you will get a huge speed boost from HSPA+, which is basically what they have been calling "4G" but in reality it's just very fast 3G which is everywhere. If your on Verizon or sprint you are stuck with the slower 3G. Unless you live in a major city, you won't have 4G anyway, unless your on ATT like I just mentioned in which case you will get like 3.5G lol. So it is very tempting for me since I have ATT and really want Siri!

Really want to but I'm jail broken and don't want a tethered jailbreak. Would LOVE to get the 4s but at the moment it can't even be jail broken at all!

yeah, and thats WHY I went to Geico! They were the lowest on my bike and car combined and I clearly stated the bike was a salvage to every place I looked. I know I did because some places don't even want to insure a salvage bike.

yeah, I was just very confused on how they could justify charging more for a bike that is worth half as much!

its only liability right now, I was only concerned with possibly going to comprehensive because I am really paranoid about theft, so being only liability I really don't give a shit if they catch me with a salvage title because I am not getting any money out of it anyways.

But shouldn't that error be on them? If they have the resources to see a salvage title, why don't they know it now?

does anyone know if the insurance looks at titles when you wreck a bike? Because the agent said to get the value of the bike they look at NADA and local dealership values of the same bike and value it off that but said they don't usually request titles or anything which I thought was odd so I may just say the hell with it and leave it as a non salvage title if thats the case.

So I just called Geico about getting winter coverage so I could save some money and while on the phone I mentioned it had a salvage title, which I told the guy when I originally got the bike insured so I didn't think she would be surprised. She said that was not on my policy and that it would raise my rates by $90 a year because of it. I responded with "that has to be a mistake, why would a bike that is worth LESS cost MORE to insure?" She said it was because it was already wrecked once and it was "more likely to crash" to which I replied "Thats absolutely ridiculous!" I figured I was paying less this whole time because my bike is worth less, but apparently I have it completely backwards. What do you guys think about this?

This is why I would only be doing it a few times a week, I'm comfortable holding onto a stock overnight but right now there are a lot of stocks that will dip $20 then go right back later that day or the next, which is exactly what apple and amazon have been doing. But if for some reason they dip and don't come back up right away I have no problem holding them because they will come back eventually(hopefully). I am completely new at this which is why I started this thread and why I wanted to get opinion on what people do or don't do.

not if I am paying a flat rate, I would have to make at least $20 per trade to break even because its $10 a trade. If I don't make the $20 I will hold on to it until it does and if I am holding on for a long time I will dump it once I get that $20 profit. I have been playing with Apple and Amazon stocks in a simulator. I bought $2000 of each yesterday and made $130 profit when I sold the Apple stock and $124 profit when I sold the Amazon stock today. If only it were real money :/

I drive through North Olmsted every day after work so I can probably take a look at it if r1 can't.

So I have been wanting to get into some mild day trading recently and was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with it? When I say mild I mean less than 4 day trades in a 5 day period because of regulations and stuff and some over night trades. I have been playing with a simulator and have had some pretty good success making about $100 or so per trade after commission. I have been playing with penny stocks and also some high dollar stocks such as Amazon and Apple and have found both have pros and cons, the penny stocks can easily yield a 40% profit in a day but since they can fluctuate so easily due to being $1 or less, a $0.10 loss could mean a lot! Where as the bigger ones are more stable but yield less profit due to having substantially less stock. I am just wondering if anyone on here does any of this and what strategies you use. Do you go for the bigger stocks? Or do you go for the big money and go for penny stocks? Also, I am not looking to get rich off of this(at least not at first haha) but just for some extra spending money.
