If you can find it cheaper somewhere then by all means get it from there, like it was said earlier, I am not making a profit on this so I don't care either way lol.

Where at? Cuz I work right next door at Sherwin Williams

Here is the scene they were prepping for in the previous post http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-VuXwue2Ow

well the system I mentioned has speakers about 5"x7"x3" so they are not extremely small but not HUGE, they do sounds really good though.

You might not believe me when I say this but the Insignia home theater system at best buy is actually a rebranded Onkyo and it sounds legit! It has a powered sub and comes in at like $300 I think. That would leave you with $100 for a blue ray player. Also, buy your cables online at amazon or monoprice.com. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Insignia%26%23153%3B+-+570W+5.1-Ch.+Home+Theater+System/9833984.p?id=1218214391173&skuId=9833984 I would agree with Klipsch being awesome! I have a 2.1 system for my computer and it actually sounds way better than my parents 5.1 system in their living room lol. It is basically just 2 quintet speakers and an 8" sub but it will shake the house and sound great doing it!

yeah, I always take the train in so it doest really bother me, especially since they are moving filming on Monday to right next to the building I work in. They are gonna be filming for the next few weeks in Cleveland and parma.

Dell computer, monitor, keyboard and chair $100!
JStump replied to THE GRUNDISH's topic in Other Stuff
Well if you end up splitting it I'll give ya $30 for the monitor to cover shipping too. -
I don't really care if you guys want them or not, I was just offering. It's like $100+ off retail after you factor in tax and shipping.

I saw this happen Thursday on my lunch break, didn't see any stars but the explosion was BAD ASS! I have been watching them build the set at Public Square for the past week and I will probably check that out during my lunch hour on Tuesday. Its surreal to see so much destruction in the city like that, it looks like a scene out of a zombie movie or something when the crew isn't there. http://www.cleveland.com/avengers/index.ssf/2011/08/more_explosions_rock_east_nint.html

well the helmet hero and motorsports hero are $199 plus $20 tax and $10 shipping so $230

The only things I can not get are listed below. Let me know what you want and Ill get the price with tax and shipping sent to your PM. Prices are UP TO 50% off but not always. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO LIMITED INVENTORY, THE HD HERO NAKED, HD HERO 960, 3D HERO SYSTEM, LCD BACPAC, BATTERY BACPAC, AND SD CARDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE AT A DISCOUNT. YOU CAN ORDER THESE PRODUCTS AT STANDARD RETAIL PRICING. EDIT: actually, after thinking about how often I would actually use a camera I decided I do not want one so now 2 cameras are up for grabs!

My debit card got hacked. Anybody track the IP address?
JStump replied to RSparky's topic in Daily Ride
This happened to me a couple years ago. Got a call from the bank at 4 in the morning asking if I was currently making a purchase in oregon. They canceled my card and got me my money back a couple weeks later but they did the same thing with the small purchases. There were 3 charges made all within 5 minutes of each other for things less than $10. They even sent some of the stuff to my house lol. -
I do, I use the kind that have the removable ear pieces and do the orange ear plug mod and it blocks out probably 85% of wind noise and are really clear for the most part. I do not know how safe it is to wear earphones because you probably can not hear a horn with them in but a lot of people do it.

you can definitely find a 250 for under $1500. I bought mine with some minor scuffing on the side in january for $1700 and sold it in June for $2100 so I ended up making a good profit on it. Since the season is about over just wait till november to february to find one because they will be a lot cheaper.

If you value sound quality at all, return that system NOW! When you get a blueray home theater combo like that, you will get an OK picture and OK sound because you are combining 2 powerful systems into one and they just hurt each other. The subwoofer is probably powered from the blueray player and so it is basically just a big speaker and you will not get ANY base out of it, and if you do you will be sacrificing clarity for base because you are sucking power away from the speakers to power the sub. You need to get a blue ray player AND a home theater system not a combo. And when getting a home theater system you need a dedicated receiver, and an ACTIVE subwoofer, not PASSIVE. Passive is powered by the receiver, Active plugs into the wall and pulls its own power. If you want a nice system that isn't going to break the bank check out the Yamaha YHT-495BL system. It has a good sound and a nice subwoofer and is completely upgradable if you want a better system down the road. You can just buy one piece at a time until you have the system you want.

Well edge lit is what you will find in any retailer like best buy and is way cheaper than back lit. The only difference is back lit can turn off LEDs in areas that are black so it gives you dark blacks like a plasma, but, they are also usually at least twice as expensive and most people don't even notice the difference. Edge lit LEDs are actually getting really good at doing the same thing with the blacks but is not quite as good yet. Also edge is going to be much thinner because they do not have all the LEDs behind the picture.

Now that I have a new job in Downtown Cleveland me and a couple friends are looking to move closer to work because I am going to have over an hour commute and after I fill my tank twice a week I might as well put that into my own place. I am looking for 3 bedrooms, at least 1 bath, in a nice neighborhood(or at least not one that is known to have a bad rep), and looking to spend with utilities probably $850/month. We are looking for pretty much anything (house, duplex or apartment). We are also looking at the Lakewood, North Olmsted, Olmsted Falls, Parma Heights and Brook Park areas and the closer to the Rapid line the better. Any suggestions?

I also did this for a living up until about 6 months ago and if you do not have many/big windows in the room or always have shades pulled the plasma is going to be the best picture. If you have windows you want to stay with LCD or LED because they do not have glass to reflect light and will not glare. LED is going to give you the brightest picture and will be very thin so if you want the cool factor go with that because it will only hang like an inch from the wall. Also, refresh rates above 120Hz do not exist on LED or LCD so don't be fooled. Even if they did exist the human eye would not be able to tell a difference between a 120 and anything higher. 3D TVs like to market 240Hz because they actually use 2 different pictures each at 120Hz, one for each eye, so combined it will be "240". A plasma may also state it has a 600Hz refresh because it needs a number to compete with LED and LCD refresh rates but in reality plasmas do not have the same type of "refresh rate" LED or LCDs have because they use a completely different technology so don't worry about that. All plasmas have the same refresh rate. Also, stick with your name brands like Samsung, Sony, Panasonic and Sharp. Samsung and Sharps are probably my favorite because I think they have the best picture and are the highest quality right now. Toshibas are junk, they used to be good which is why some of you are saying you have Toshibas that are over 5 or 10 years old but now they are garbage. Don't know how many of them I have seen come back to Best Buy because they were broke or the customer didn't like them. Samsungs are by far number 1 right now. Vizio is also a crap shoot because they use many manufacturers left over displays which they buy cheap and put in their own units. I have seen some awesome looking Vizios and have also seen some really shitty ones.

if your not under warrantee wrap it in a towel and turn it on for like 30 minutes, turn it off and let it cool for a couple hours then try to use it again. I have done this several times and it works. It basically super heats the system to resolder and connect the components that come loose from the board.
