  1. I love camping, HATE sleeping on the ground, but it does sound like fun
  2. yup, I know the place, I live in Reno about a mile away.
  3. Nope, just found a guy who took a bike apart, and never put it back together again. Picked it up for 800 bucks
  4. I'm Brian from Marietta, Ohio, two hours southeast of columbus. I've got a 1987 Harley 883 Hugger, with a NHRS 1250 kit, heads, and cams, had it for close to ten years, bought it in boxes from indiana, and it's always a work in progress. I'm finally biting the bullet next fall and doing a full disassemble, stretching the frame, repainting, and doing some custom metal work and fenders made from a model A spare tire cover. this is pretty much as she sits today
  5. +1 on the poker run. See and meet a lot of cool people and a lot of tricked bikes.
  6. I'm about two hours from c-bus, I could always ride my harley up sometime, but there's not a lot of fun roads up there, you're better off heading south towards the mountains.
  7. Depends on how old it is. http://www.bikebandit.com is a good one they've even got OEM microfiche for part retrieval. http://www.oldbikebarn.com is a good one for older bikes obviously ebay is a pretty decent source sometimes. Hope these help http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/2258/lec0123b565696c8d900d0exw7.jpg
  8. fourwheeler trip I'm assuming? http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/3387/lec0123b565696c8d900d0ecw3.jpg
  9. haha, guess I'm on the wrong forum. http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/3387/lec0123b565696c8d900d0ecw3.jpg
  10. That's a pretty fun bike. I had an interceptor for awhile, my second bike, had a blast with it. And it's a honda, the damn thing will literally run forever. Check the frame over real well though, the fork stem rotted out on mine.
  11. I've got a 87 sporty 883 hugger, 1200 conv, and I'm trying to find out if I can swap the 4-speed gears for the 5 speed from a newer model. I'm revving pretty high past 60mph and I'd like to be able to run the highway with this bike if possible. It was converted to belt drive before I bought it as well. I can swap the pulleys for a higher ratio obviously, but it's geared pretty tall in first and I have to slip the clutch quite a bit to get going as it is. any ideas?
  12. I was able to produce quite a bit of hydrogen with just a couple copper conductors in a glass of water. I've done the math and the only way to make it work while saving gas, is to run it on an independent battery, otherwise you're just making your alternator work that much harder. A couple of deep cells in parallel should be enough to power the system for about 8 hours, or a decent road trip. It also has the advantage of making the air to the motor much richer in oxygen. It's actually an HHO gas generator that I'm building. It's cheap so I figure it's worth a shot.
  13. Any of you guys messed with sticking a hydrogen generator setup in your vehicles yet? Just curious, I'm in the works of doing it myself, kinda looking for other ideas.
