  1. I've been giddy as a school girl being asked to prom by the quarterback lmao Seriously, been distracted all evening and may have annoyed the girl a lil talking about it HAHA
  2. 2003 R6, picked up from a local dealer. Micron high mount exhaust, LED tail with intergrated signals, tinted windscreen, lowered but with adjustable to return to stock height and new battery (lol) Picked it up for a decent price but unfortunately had to bring it home in the rain...

  6. Been searching alot. Finally found an R6 that I was happy with the price. The 636 still would be a nice bike. May help my girl get it
  7. Appreciate the insight from the members and constructive criticism. Was off work today, and drove around from place to place checking out a few more bikes. No settling. Found my R6 and for a good deal, IMO. Not home yet, but pics later.
  8. Here is the response I got on the ZZR: The motorcycle has only 25.000 miles . It's in perfect condition , no damage, no engine problems, garage kept and has a clear title. I'm selling this motor because my son of 21 years old died 6 months ago, he was hit by a drunk driver that went thru a red light. Now this Kawasaki brings me bad memories and I really can't keep it anymore...hope you understand my pain in this moments. If you are really interested in buying the motorcycle please do take care of it as we and my son did because it's a beautiful one and it would be ashamed not to...The last price is $1400, the funds received after this sale will be donated to charity. Me and my husband travel a lot with our personal business and we want to make this deal through eBay's Vehicle Purchase Protection Program.I just need your full name, full shipping address, home/cell # so I can open a case.(with no further obligation or fees). For fiew pictures here is a link to the motorcycle http://s1199.photobucket.com/albums/aa480/melissazr6/ God bless
  9. Found a nice Yamaha, then noticed it was an R1 lol. Love the Yamahas tho
  10. Ha, yeah I looked at the fs section here lol
  11. Other than scouring the classifieds, where are good places to look? I'm not keen on craigslist
  12. Yeah, which is why I want to see them in person. Not ready to pull the trigger on anything at the moment
  13. This is what has me looking. I know he's dropped the 636, which is why he's getting the new plastics/paint. Already did the insurance check and the 636 is a good bit cheaper than I was expecting lol. So insurance shouldn't be a hassle
  14. Oh, I'm still looking around. I'm not stuck on just these two bikes. If I can find an R6/636 local I'll jump on it. As for the pricing on these two, 636 = $2500 and ZZR = $1400 Have not seen either in person tho
  15. I've looked at the paper differences, as far as these two specific bikes in question, I'm trying to see which way I want to go. Local and save $1100 or hope this guy I know pulls thru and doesn't leave me still searching for a bike
  16. Has been my fav bike after the Kawi's
  17. I'm looking around. If anyone spy anything, let me know!
  18. Is it worth it to hold out another month before making a decision to look elsewhere?
  19. More of an acquaintance. Hadn't heard from him in almost a year, contacted me after seeing I was looking for a bike about a month ago. Talked my ear off about it for a couple days then flaked. No response in a couple weeks. Going to Nashville for a couple days would be nice tho, just don't feel confident in him like I did when he first brought the offer up
  20. Yeah, I figured it's Katana/GS category. I want the 636, but the distance and pricing is tempting to go with the ZZR for this year. It's still a great looking bike IMO.
  21. List of differences I know: The 636 is in Nashville and I'd have to truck it back up here. The ZZR is local. ZZR is $1100 less than the 636 which is nice too. Also less miles. 4k vs 10k (not a huge deal) The 636 is custom pearl white, kawi green frame, other mods. Biggest issue with the 636 is that my friend has been hard to get a hold of lately and I don't want to sit around waiting on him for weeks. If there was better communication I'd not hesitate to go to Nashville
  22. I have been planning to get my friends '06 ZX6R/636 in a few weeks but I came across a 2007 ZZR600 locally. Saves me the trip to Nashville. This will be the first bike I own. I know the 636 is FI and the ZZR is carb'd. Anything else major I should choose one over the other? Both have clean title.
