Constructed from goatskin leather, the Full Metal 6 Leather Gloves are the top of Dainese's glove lineup. Reinforced leather palms provide excellent abrasion resistance. The Full Metal 6 Gloves feature carbon fiber inserts at the joints of the fingers and the head of the ulna bone, as well as composite inserts in carbon fiber/titanium on the knuckles and back of the hand. These gloves have quadruple elastication between the knuckles and back of the hand to provide extra comfort and flexibility. Aramid fiber stitching is found throughout the Full Metal 6 Gloves. Gone are the days when you had to send out your helmet to get a custom communication device installed. The Sena SRL Communication System (sold separately) was created specifically for the brand-new Shoei Neotec II Modular Helmet. The Neotec II is a complete overhaul of the original Neotec. It features an all-new aerodynamic design and interior resulting in an incredibly quiet helmet. This modular helmet gives you the convenience of an open-face helmet with the safety of a full-face helmet. In addition to a multi-position face shield, this helmet has a QSV-1 sun shield built in. It also comes equipped with a Pinlock EVO fog-resistant system. Shoei's Neotec II has a high-quality ventilation system to provide maximum comfort. The expanded 3-position upper air intake vent allows air in while the all-new exhaust outlets expel unwanted warm air. Additional ventilation is also found on the inside of the helmet, with several funnels built right into the EPS. The interior of this helmet is completely removable, replaceable, and washable. The Neotec II incorporates Shoei's new 'Noise Isolator' cheek pads, which deflect wind and reduce unwanted noise. The Dainese D-Air Racing Misano Suit is one of two race suits equipped with the D-Air airbag system. D-Air utilizes Dainese's intelligent protection system to determine when to inflate the airbag (high side or low side). The Dainese D-Air system consists of the following: Electronic System - triggering algorithm and diagnostics managed by dedicated firmware; three accelerometers; three gyroscopes; a GPS; 2 GB internal memory; user interface (LED); lithium polymer battery. Pneumatic System - Dainese-patented 3D structure airbag; high-pressure airbag with a volume of 4 liters; "cold" technology gas generator. When activated, the airbag provides extra protection to the collarbones, shoulders, and neck. In addition to providing protection, the D-Air system built into this suit also collects data (lap times, max speed, etc.) allowing you to evaluate your performance on the track. The Misano suit is constructed from cowhide D-Skin 2.0 leather, making it lightweight yet extremely abrasion resistant. Localized perforation throughout the suit allows for excellent ventilation. The Misano incorporates bi-axial elasticated and microelastic inserts for comfort and performance. This suit features aluminum plates on the shoulders and knees and titanium plates on the elbows. The elbows and knees also have composite protectors. Soft protectors on the hips are built into this suit. The Misano suit includes a back protector. Dainese recommends charging the battery every two months, even when not being used.
