Stevens lost control of the motorcycle at West Lebanon Road and struck the left side of an oncoming 1989 Chevrolet Camaro, Lt. Chad Enderby said. Stevens, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at Aultman Hospital. The boy was wearing a helmet and sustained minor injuries. The two people in the Camaro were not injured." "The second crash occurred at 6:42 p.m. on Ohio 241 at Erie Street in Massillon. A 2005 Harley-Davidson driven by 70-year-old Michael Braatz, of Wooster, was going east on Ohio 241 and approaching the green light at Erie. Someone driving a late '80s or early '90s model green and tan Chevrolet or Plymouth minivan south on Erie made an erratic right turn onto 241 and struck the motorcycle. The minivan kept going, Lt. William Weirtz. Braatz, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at 7:49 p.m. at Affinity Hospital. Anyone with information on the hit-skip driver or minivan is asked to call the Canton Post at 330-433-6200." :rip:

I'm glad everyone's alright. Sounds like you guys had a good time at Sean's, I'm glad you liked it. If I didn't have plans that night I would have joined everyone. Hollywood, great save on the start. As I got a shot of that I said to myself "oh $hit, not again!" Got home around 9:00 after the three hour. Craig, thanks for letting me attempt to destroy the Spree. Now the fun begins, sorting pics and getting CD's out. Thanks to all who ordered CD's, it's GREATLY APPRECIATED! Now a two week break. Three straight weekends of photography has worn me down.

After yesterday's commute home, I am convinced that there needs to be a ban on cell phone usage while driving. Heading down 90 West in the Lakewood / Rocky River area I just about became road kill. Lady driving some sort of Toyota sedan chatting away on her phone. I'm on my nice bright red Kaw, Yoshi race exhaust (honest it was on the bike when I bought it ), 140 Db airhorn and bright red Joe Rocket jacket. I see her start to come over and lay on the horn. She moves back and then immediately comes right over! Mind you my exhaust is right at her driver side window. Lay on the horn as she puts me onto the shoulder and just about into the median wall. Get on the brakes and avoid hitting anythng and get in right behind her. Start flashing my high beams on and off to get her attention and she's oblivious. She finally moves over and I pull up next to her while laying on the horn. I shoot her the bird and give her one of those shoulder shrugs to say "WTF?" She takes her free hand off the wheel, continues to talk and looks at me with a shrug to say "what's your problem?" I was half tempted to get behind her and follow her until she got off the freeway so that I could start cussing her out. Fortunately, I had other places to be and opted to take the high road. Next time, I won't be so nice!

THe one thing I added to my van for towing my camper is Firstone's Coil Right air bags. Using these to raise the rear and have a more level tow vehicle. I'll be trying them out this weekend and will post up results.
