  1. http://youtu.be/9cmXPMcmdtE Vid from 8-28.. 2nd to last session of advanced
  2. if anyone can help me out with some suspension stuff tomorrow I'd appreciate it.. I changed the fork oil, seals, and put in a stiffer spring on my 05 600rr .. Candybluzx and I got the sag all set up, but the rebound and compression is what I'll need help with tomorrow once I get out there.
  3. Just spoke to Reuben yesterday.. He's a good man--Can't wait to get all my suspension stuff done.. 22k miles on my bike and I'm sure my fork oil is going to look like freakin swamp ass..Pretty stoked to see how it all feels on sunday!
  4. I'm doing the forks myself but the shock I'd rather have a reputable shop do.. thanks for the suggestions I messaged a few places.
  5. I'm finally getting around to throwing stiffer springs and changing the oil/seals out on my forks.. My rear shock(oem) definitely needs serviced.. Any shops in Ohio that you guys could recommend? I live in the Mansfield area.
  6. good vid.. the talk about the suspension working in that 'sweet spot' reminds me even more on why I need to get my fork oil changed after 21k miles and the rear shock taken care of
  7. I can't believe we got as lucky as we did.. the forecast tues morning looked horrible, ended up sitting out two sessions in the afternoon to wait for things to dry out.. Crazy crash in turn one took 3 riders out and I was almost the 4th .
  8. I wouldn't use them man, do what the man says but don't scrap them. I have an address you can send them to that'll guarantee safe 'disposal'
  9. I'll be there tuesday in A. see yall there
  10. I found that out the hard way after lowsiding in the carrousel .. I freakin love those tires though! I was talking to the dude at the dunlop trailer during AMA weekend and he said no need for warmers.. Just take a few laps to get some heat in them. I'm too poor for warmers.. andddd no room in my car/trailer for a generator lol.
  11. I have the 211's as well.. run the same pressure that you're running and I had no issue with that.. I was running ~23-24lb hot last tuesday.
  12. lol my quads are pretty sore the next day and I even run everyday.. If they weren't I would be worried, they're working quite a bit to keep you moving side to side off the bike..
  13. Can't say I was that great with motocross.. was definitely back of the pack in B class lol.. Just had a lot of fun with it.. here's another vid-session 6 of A before the red flag flew.. http://youtu.be/NqvuIm4f7Ak
  14. lol .. 3 spots on my plastics that should be repairable.. Just need to find someone to help.. Rear set bracket needs replaced, subframe is bent, my clip on mayyy work, not sure yet, My throttle tube may work after I smooth it out--throttle cables are done for.. I believe thats it. Atleast my gopro still worked--and no scuffs on the helmet.. kept the slide on my ass/side and you can barely tell.. I rode one novice day last september in the pouring ass rain--thanks to Mike for sucking it up every session lol. I did one novice day this year to get upto speed and work on things in the dry.. Went upto Int for the next 4.. Felt confident and everyone said I looked smooth/predictable enough to move upto A.. today was my first day in A and it was a love/hate kind of day lol.. between my chain popping off my second session and getting into the 1:39's finally and then crashing.. ha
  15. what a day.. chain broke off coming out of pitlane onto the straight on the outlap of the 2nd A session.. Threw a new one on thanks to Brandon816 and got back out there and got my goal of going under 1:40 today! But then crashed out on the 6th session--1st lap after the red flag buttt atleast I got the first crash done and over with.. and thankfully the lowside
  16. just signed up for tuesday.. be there in Adv on an all black cbr.. see yall there
  17. I don't see why not.. afterall.. riding at midohio on a wet track is nothing but exciting
  18. http://youtu.be/949aTrESMsY another good vid to watch on lines--dude is smokin!
  19. I agree with ya on watching the vids--I've felt like I have been hauling ass in a few spots just to come home--watch the video & see that I was more so coasting.. Really helps to pick out a few areas to work on each time I'm out then mentally focus on getting faster in that area.
  20. when you hold it tight coming out of 7 and swoop out to the right just to come back into 8 I think it is slower than coming into 7 a bit faster and staying on the throttle & then getting on the brakes into 8 and holding er tight.. I hated turn 8 at first but now I love it lol.. And I'm bumping up to A next track day Rusty--looking forward to learning a few things from everyone there.
  21. thank you, why do you say interesting line choice? I try to make a straight line to the entry point and just hold it as tight as i can through there.. so damn tempting to pass people on the inside through there--one more reason i need to take a stab at racing next year lol. second vid is up--session 5 http://youtu.be/gOIU_xKTbZg
  22. first vid uploaded http://youtu.be/5SnSaMfo5oo 4th session of intermediate
