  1. He's gone. Thanks for all the kind words.
  2. Kinda want this but no.... glws.
  3. I have a weaver kaspa on my 20". Haven't shot it yet but it looks to be a pretty solid scope. They're around $300 new I think. I sniper it on auction for less than $200
  4. That's an amazing amount of craftsmanship.
  5. I use a Sony Ericsson mw600 receiver and the sound is great but it doesn't run while on a charger which is how you'd have to keep it, so if you do go wireless make sure it's a unit that will work while charging.
  6. I might just see how long I can get mine...even after the winter months.
  7. I think he's starting to lose the fight. Past few days have been up and down, today was mostly down. He didn't have any appetite most of the day. We have him on pain meds and he seems pretty comfortable. Still ready to go if I ask him if he wants to go walk but I don't think he has 2 weeks left in him. We did get him for longer than we expected and for that we are very grateful. He got to experience one last snowfall and we managed to still have our dog when we got married. I have some hard days ahead of me. The wife is much less optimistic than I, she thought for sure it was over when he wouldn't eat today. Trying to be strong for the both of us.
  8. Got some new beard stuff today... grampa ' s pine tar soap, bay rum beard oil and some beard bomb from grave before shave. The soap does not exactly smell great....it smells like a coal fire mostly. The bar is brown but you get an incredibly rich white lather. Rinses away leaving face and beard feel...I can't explain it....slightly grippy? Idk. It's supposed to be very good stuff, I'll use it for a week before I have an opinion. Bay rum beard oil smells awesome. Does a good job softening my face pelt. Bottle should last me a really long time. Haven't tried the balm yet. It's not bay rum....I think it's citrus eucalyptus..smells good, will use tomorrow and see how it compares to the beardsmans mate stuff I've been using. Also came with a beer coozie and some sweet stickers. I know Hoblick was very impressed with the soap, wondering if this was for beard or entire head use. Now to soak my mustache in gin and tonics...
  9. Tips: Use a bluetooth receiver and wireless qi charging to go completely wireless for cleaner install. Get a bluetooth obd2 doohickey and download the torque app to your tablet and it will double as a complete vehicle information center. Find a gps app that you can download maps to (vs the device using Mobile data to provide map data) and boom, touch screen navigation. Might as well get as much function as possible.... I bet you could find a way to use a usb camera as a backup cam too.
  10. Thanks, lots of great info. Will research your links tomorrow as I'm wrist deep in liberty ale.
  11. Looks like my mission, if I choose to accept it, is to get powder, caps, balls and patches tomorrow.
  12. Why agree to a limit of how many miles you can ride before they financially ass - rape you with a pineapple?
  13. Sweet thanks. Anything special I need to know about cleaning?
  14. Top of barrel is stamped 'euroarms of america' top strap is marked 'Rogers and spencer, Utica n-y' Nothing but a makers mark under the ram. Various other maker marks on barrel and frame. .44 cal black powder only on side of barrel
  15. When you light diesel (or any other liquid) it is only the fumes that burn. Liquid phase matter is not combustable.
  16. I recently inherited a beautiful Italian made replica of a colt army .44 revolver (I think). It's definitely colt design (no safety notches on cyl between nipples). I know absolutely dick about black powder, especially revolvers. Guessing fff grain powder. Guessing oversized balls (tee hee) Guessing colt caps will be pretty much standard. Educate me.

    Soa

I wonder what just jax's body count is from the entire series....I bet it's close to 100.
  18. False. They may not be highly flammable but diesel is very combustible..
  19. And figuratively. But mostly I like a bare baby-cannon.....and I am almost never clean shaven.

Yeah I didn't understand why he burnt all that stuff either.
  21. Rubber band is a deal breaker for me. Only rich corinthian leather graces my left wrist.
  22. My only complaint with bell helmets is that the magnet in the strap isn't sewn in and every bell I've had the glue fails and the magnet falls out. Other than that, I have a carbon star and it's am awesome lid.
  23. Ordered the grave before shave combo kit. Beard balm, beard oil (both bay rum scent), pine tar soap and a beer coozie. I think Hoblick was the one who gave it the thumbs up.
  24. Nobody wants this because nobody knows what it is....glock sells in 2 days, this gun may never move because it's kinda rare.
