Now had your neighborhood had recent break-ins and the supposed suspects were Hispanic, and you see a suspicious looking Hispanic which you have never seen in your neighborhood before, you are telling me that you wouldn't be profiling if you called 911 and reported him? So that is what George did in a nutshell, and none of us have any proof that he instigated any deserved attack upon himself. He is now out on bail, and he will be put on trial for something that I am pretty confident he will beat. George did nothing illegal whatsoever, him getting out of the vehicle for whatever reason is totally irrelevant. Unwise yes, illegal NO. We are all too aware of your opinions, expertise, and thought processes on almost everything. Your thought process and rambling on many things is quite scary at times, really makes me think "is this guy for real". Do you have a good group of friends which to hangout with, do you have any hobbies which helps you clear your mind?

The permit holder should have his gun on his person IMHO, or stored away with the magazines empty and ammo separated. They are responsible for securing that weapon, first and foremost. And don't ever put anything past what police may or may not do, that is a huge mistake and assumption. No matter what the officer "must in Ohio" be informed that a CHL holder is in the car with or without a weapon. Oh....and if you are a CHL with a weapon in a car, you had better make damn sure whomever is with you doesn't have certain felonies or you are FUCKED!!!!!

Gun owners need to train their kids in safety, show their kids what guns actually do and are capable of, learn about how guns work. My 16 year old son has been shooting some kind of gun since he was probably 8 years old, and he keeps his Glock 19 and a Colt 1911 "unloaded" in his room. There are so many ways to ensure that guns are being safely stored or secured in homes, guns are not the problem gun owners are. When you take the mystery and curiosity away, most kids will plain just get it. They need to see first hand that it aint like Call of Duty or in the movies, guns are not toys. You can bet I have more than 1 loaded and "chambered" pistol within reach in my home, guns are nothing to be feared. The responsibility falls solely on the owner, anything else is just bullshit.
