That just proves in itself that people are stupid and careless......guns are not dangerous in responsible hands.

Grenade training?
-
How about Walt Disneyworld provide that training, because what you want is for sure a fantasy? Who will ensure that those providing training are certified/qualified, how much is this training gonna cost, where is it going to take place, will there be a psychiatric evaluation, will there be a urine test? I kind of thought like you at one point, but realized that it just didnt make sense. Idiots on the road are much more dangerous than any single thing I can think of, gun toting folks doesnt bother me so much anymore. And we are already taxed and over-governed as it is, enough is enough already.

How dare some of us make sense and actually not be full of shit! You "Mr. Ex" have brought all this attention upon yourself, go back and read your almost 1000 posts you have made. I am sure you are a good enough guy in person, but online you have a whole different persona. There are folks on here that actually know each other and hangout quite often, and many that are very knowledgeable about allot. It is one thing to have an opinion, belief, viewpoint or perspective, but consistently talking out of your ass is a whole other game. Yes there are those that will call you out on something......well actually most of us will do that. Get out and meet some of us, maybe that can clear the air. I will give you this much, you are interesting for sure.

What point, carrying?
-
I think that Exarch works at Woodbury!!!! And he posted in a thread about him, now that is some funny shit there.
-
Yeah that is a great store, I am a regular there and buy allot of ammo too.
-
Paige on American Guns who looks like a dirty little slut, needs a good bare-bottom spanking!!!!
-
I meant to put a smartass smiley after my statement "I will do that".
-
How dare you induce panic toward ignorant people!!!! I am not a fan of Walmart and never have been, I take my Walmart business to Meijer. Im not a big fan of open carry in public, but I respect and uphold those that do. My .380 in my front or back pocket works much better for me in most public dealings. I will carry my 9 or .40, but usually have my shirt un-tucked and covering it. Glad Walmart got back with you and said that was not company policy, and good for you for standing firm on your right.

I see allot of people who are not properly qualified/trained to drive or ride a motorcycle, so they should all be banned until proper qualifications and certifications are met. Yes many people lack common sense, but I have yet to meet anybody that isn't aware that a gun could "potentially" be lethal in the wrong hands. Owners need to be responsible first and foremost, realize it is an instrument of death if used incorrectly or disrespected. There are always gonna be a minority of gun owners that are gonna fuck up in some way, that includes not being responsible for keeping the guns out of unattended kids access. I fail to see how a gun is more dangerous than many things in the home which we take for granted each day. Guns are not dangerous, people are careless/dangerous and always have been. The number of guns in households in this country is unparalleled anywhere in the world, which is a big reason why this country would be almost impossible to invade. I used to be one that thought mandatory training/qualifying for a universal carry should be utilized, I have since used my common sense and see that is unnecessary and futile. Sure folks are still gonna fuck up, even those that are experienced.....shit sometimes just happens. But I can assure you of one thing, I believe there are many more responsible gun owners than not. Tragedy's are going to continue to happen no matter what we try to do, that is just how things work. YOU CANNOT FIX STUPID!!!!!

UnderArmour sport briefs are absolutely awesome!!!! The twig and berries can breathe, and there are no seams in the butt or legs....they are very similar to cycling shorts.
-
I sure as hell wouldn't let any of them blow me.
-
The list is spot on, and I have been down there more than a few times. And yes Northern GA is a must ride for sure!!!
-
Trust me on this postwhore......you are attempting to argue with the wrong person when discussing firearms and laws, and you think a few worthless links is going to prove something?
-
Mmmmmmmm.....sweet tea no doubt!
-
Ah man Craig......I just saw your email and thought to checkout the thread too. So glad you are OK first and foremost, and so glad you were wearing your gear and riding so defensively. Not the first time the big DL has been down, but this time it wasn't a drop. If there is anything that Steve and I can do to help get things all fixed up, please don't hesitate to ask. You have a black cloud following you around so far this year, that is some bullshit! Don't stress over the trip, things will hopefully workout one way or another.

What behavior? Protecting rights and freedom, protecting your ass and others with you if need be....yeah that is proper. I have absolutely no John Wayne or billy the bad ass mentality at all, I am extremely calm and reserved when I carry. Now you threaten my life and or try to do me bodily harm without justification, and we are talking about a whole other ballgame.

Under the new laws, if you have your CHL you are not breaking the law whether it's being defined as concealed or not. Yes a motorcycle falls under the same exact laws as a cage, that was part of my point to begin with. There is no brandishing law in Ohio by the way, it falls under inducing panic or aggravated menacing. But if you are able to prove that you were in fact in danger "like the OP very well could've been", you have a solid case. Either way I would've contacted the police, that situation could have ended very badly. There are gray areas to the law and the situation at hand, you make a judgment call and deal with the potential consequences.
-
Really....where is that law?
-
Ohio law in/on a motor vehicle has been changed, it's my understanding you can have the gun on and or transporting in the vehicle anyway that you like? As long as you are not pointing/displaying the actual unholstered gun or waving the gun at somebody, or acting in a threatening way....how is that brandishing? Technically I could now have my gun half concealed on my person while riding and I am not breaking the law, the police may not see it that way but I believe I am correct? Like I said, I am typically open carrying when I ride anyways so this is really a moot point. As we all know there are gray areas when it comes to carrying, I would not be making a threat toward the aggressor, it would be more of a "don't fuck with me anymore". Y'all do as you wish, everything we do or don't do is a judgement call anyways. I wonder how most would react if you honestly feel your life may be in danger, bad things happen fast. Read this and pay special attention to rule #4, hence the gray area I am talking about.......my statement stands on what I would "more than likely" have done in that bad situation. http://www.ohioccw.org/201106304942/new-rules-for-vehicle-carry-the-other-half-of-sb17.html

You just never know unless it happens, and I feel that most logical people won't want any trouble if they know you are packing. I wouldn't stop and let them by, I would just try to get away from them, and or find a place of business with people around. And you don't feel the need to ever carry......remember? GLAD THE OP IS SAFE AND SOUND.....THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS RIGHT NOW!
-
Where did I say I was going to draw? And I don't agree with your logic of "If I am gonna draw I am gonna shoot", more bad situations have been stopped by brandishing/displaying a weapon then you realize. If I feel my life is truly in danger, I am not going to worry about anything else except for getting out of that situation. I ride nowadays more open carry than concealed, so no worries there anyways.
