Yeah, enjoyed it man. Very competent group of riders today.... very skilled. Makes for a fun and safe ride.
Hopefully the weather holds and we get at least one more in this season.

In my previous life I used to sell those for the factory. Remember Watergate....the burgers were caught with checks from Nixon's campaign. One of the checks was from the owner of the company. Dude owned two islands in the Bahama's. He gave one of them to Nixon, I have been there. I took a piss in Nixon's john.
Damn that got complicated quickly. From Preval sprayers, to Watergate, to the Bahamas, to Nixon's toilet! I'm guessing Roswell or Area 51 was involved? Haha!

I've read a little here and there about TigCraft, but don't know a whole lot. Their reputation seems to be impeccable.
I can say they look good, they're titanium, and they sound un-FUCKING-believable.
Anyone know anything about TigCraft? Any opinions good or bad?

So looks like we will stick to meet times at 800ish in Bolivar to leave by 815, Otsego 945ish, and McConnellsville 1100-1115. Cu guys tomorrow.
Sounds good. Bundle up. Supposed to be pretty chilly in the am.

Initially we just planned to ride Sunday, and then you guys moved the epic ride to Sunday so they then we're on the same date. But not originally.
Yeah, honestly I'd echo what Jim said. But in addition to that, I've done the epic ride a few times, and I like seeing all of the guys that are there. Usually I like my riding to be a little more organic, and less organized....which allows for route changes and unplanned stops. That, and with the pace that we keep, the familiarity of the group and the member's skill level lets everyone be a little more confident in each other and the ride as a whole. At least that's how I feel.
And like Jim said, we will probably ride double the miles of the epic ride route tomorrow.
Anyway, yes I got the Tuono. It's a great bike. Really enjoying it man. I'll see if I can post a picture.

The gas station across from the shelter house on the river. Be good to see you out Joel.

Just my .02. I think trying to merge with the Epic ride will result in confusion. And I tend to think our pace doesn't work well with the Epic ride pace.
Like I said, just my opinion. I'm good with whatever we do.

I'll be there in Otsego at 9:45. Wait til you hear my pipes!

I did that.
I always thought the black fender was odd, especially since it was the same for the blue, red, and yellow bike. It was a cheap cost cutting measure used by Suzuki and always reeked of laziness and mass production to me.
So, I bought DuPont two-part paint from Napa that was the exact match for the Suzuki pearl. I sprayed it with Preval sprayers, and it actually turned out awesome. You literally could not tell that it was not a stock piece. It wasn't some half-assed job.
I loved the look and the result. Curious to hear your opinion though. Don't be afraid to tell me you hate it....hahahaha! By the way, the kid has had the bike on CL for over a month. I think he'll have a hard time selling at that *FIRM* price. -

Icon leather jacket. Good condition. No rash. Think size is XL but it fits like a 44/54. Comes with liner. Asking $150.
Scorpion Exo 500 helmet. Great condition. Worn maybe three times. Comes with original box, bag, and mirror and clear visor. $60
Also have a circa 1990 leather sport bike jacket. Great condition. Fits like a 42/52. I'll have to take pictures and add them if anyone has any interest. $75

Thanks man...I appreciate it. A few more days and I'll know for sure whether she's mine or not. We'll have to get together for a ride before the end of the season. I'm hoping to get some longer trips in down South to extend my riding time.
-
It's been hot and heavy, but in the end she isn't an intelligent economical investment.
I'd gladly keep the RSV, but the deal for the Tuono came out of nowhere and I feel like they offered me more than I would have expected for the trade-in. So, it's really what I wanted in the first place....a sport touring bike. And few STs have the superbike bloodlines like the Tuono.
But if this bike only turns out to be a more comfortable, touring version of my RSV, I'll be keeping this one for quite a while. On paper, it's everything I want in a bike.
-
Nope, no "guess my bike". I found a nice gen 2 Tuono. They've accepted my offer and gave me a good trade-in on the RSV. Just transferring funds and hoping they'll hold it like they said they would.
Same horsepower, same handling, just naked. Should be everything I want. Liter bike power that's a little more comfortable for distances. I love my Aprilia. So, hopefully I'll love my next Aprilia.

You don't need a trailer anymore, son!
don't have the bike yet. They said they put a sold tag on it, but until I own it I'm not holding my breath.
You planning to ride down Pauly?

Double post

If anyone has room in a trailer, I could probably make this work.

I'm still planning to ride to WV that weekend Brian, hopefully on my new bike.
Felt better all day yesterday, and regretted not coming out. But it was for the best. I needed the rest.
We should get roll call for that trip.

Ok man. I've been sick all week, but assumed I'd be better by today. If I'm feeling better in the morning I might give it a try. Seems like I've felt ok in the mornings but by the evening I'm incapacitated by low grade fever. It's an ear infection that's just hanging on.
Anyway...if I feel like can get out for a few hours I'll text you. If not, enjoy your ride man.
-
I may not make it to this guys. I'm really sick. Fever and chills. If I'm feeling better in the morning, I'll be there. But I'd say it's not likely.
-
Planning to be there. Should be fun.
Ride Sunday Sept 13, Ne Oh to most likely Marrietta via back roads and back.
