  1. Hence..exactly why I simply run one cycle of fuel through the tank...
  2. Well I appreciate all the responses. And to paraphrase my thoughts in response....no I don't "need" any more power from a Cbr 1000. I was simply trying a different fuel to see if it really did change my power as some friends had stated it would. And I did consult a friend who had raced these bikes professionally to make sure I wouldn't harm the engine. He said cam2 could plug things up if ran straight but mixed 50/50 I would notice better throttle response. Whether anyone agrees or not my Cbr 1000 had better throttle response And the engine ran smoother. It's my bike and I ride it the same way Everytime im on it...therefore I should know. No its no worth the price difference just for cruising sake, but if I were to do track days I definately would have it in the tank
  3. Just wondering if anyone uses "Cam2" fuel for daily riding...whether it be straight fuel or mixture and what are the pros/cons with long term use??? I tried it 50/50 today...that is 50% 93 octane and 50% Cam2. Saw amazing throttle response and crazy power.
  4. Anyone riding in southeast Ohio later this afternoon/evening? Where at?
  5. I'm in southeast Ohio...Pomeroy area
  6. I am looking for cleaning, smooth, and curvy roads to ride my CBR 1000...any advice or opinions?
  7. Sweet! Mine should be easy to install and route then. Thanks
  8. Other than taking the seat off...what else do you need to take off the Cbr to install the switch up near the instrument cluster?
  9. How much of the bike do you need to take apart?
  10. I'm thinking about installing a gear indicator light on my 06 Honda Cbr 1000. Just wondering If anyone has installed one of these and if it's difficult or even worth the time...? Thanks
  11. Okay thanks! Low/mid 220s is about all I've seen so I guess I'm good. Relief!!!!
  12. How difficult is it to install the fan override switch you referred to? Honestly, I haven't tore into my bike at all. Not sure how mechanical friendly it is. Could you describe how to do this please??? Thanks!
  13. Thanks a lot! I can breathe easier now.
  14. Lol..yea I understand the rise in temp but was unsure what exactly is too hot for the engine. Thanks!
  15. I have a 2006 Honda CBR1000RR. The temperature run 180 or so at speed but when I slow to town speeds or just pull over the temp goes to 220-225. Is this normal And at what temperature should I become concerned? The water level is fine and the fan does come on.... Thanks!
