  1. Well, I say 8% because I was tested twice, once at my Nutrition shop and the other time by a trainer at my gym. Both said 8% without knowing what the other said. I can see all 6 abs when I wake up in the morning before eating anything but I don't count that. I'm not totally disagreeing with you. Just sayin what I've been told. People carry fat in different places (i.e. butt, thighs, etc.) In my case I have always seen fat show up first in my stomach. Again, not sayin you're wrong, just explain my experience.

Bf testing is very inaccurate, most state lower then actual, body builders only get to 4-5% on competition days and can only maintain that for a short time.

the body needs 3% eccential fat to live. 7-8% can be maintained with a perfect diet but very tough.

here is me at about 14% abs are visible but not to sharp

and here is my at about 8% cutting water for my weigh in (started at about 9%)

abs are much sharper and all visible when unflexed too

i was cutting for a powerlifting competition to lift in the 181lb class

  2. . I am now down to 8% body fat and my "beer belly" has given way to my "4-pack" (almost 6 pack). I'm stronger than ever and feel better than ever....Basically, do it! And stick with it. It really is a mindset. It's worth it. Thats my 2 cents, lol

if you only have a 4 pack you are about 15-16% body fat, if you were 8% you would start to see the veins in your abs, and the abs would be visible at all times unflexed.

so many people under estimate their body fat.

it took me a bit of work being strict with my diet and training to get to 9%, where i got to 8% one day cutting water for a weigh in. its not easy to maintain 8-9% but doable.

  3. Again, that is one account by one party involved, what about the other side of the story? Oh we can't hear him, he's dead...

NOPE! I'm in this armed vs unarmed, 18 yr old vs 30 yr old... their ancestors country of origin has nothing at all to do with it.

Might be about race for you, not for me.

Split hairs much? he had no business chasing someone around the neighborhood anyway, he was not on watch, and he already called the police...you're not a cop, you're not trained... go home

Definitely better, not nearly as excessive... Would have been much better for him to mind his own business.

right, but I'm not pulling a gun on an unarmed person (I KNOW this because I'm not carrying one) I'll fight, I'll throw elbows, punch, kick whatever, but then I'm not chasing people around town for no good reason either.

the one account is backed up by the evidence.

Zimmerman had every right to follow that wannabethug to make sure he wasnt doing anything wrong. there are no laws prohibiting him from checking the dude out to make sure he wasnt casing places to rob.

obviously the cops werent able to stop the robberies so zimmerman took it to himself to make sure the neighborhood was safe, we depend on the police to protect us when they cant.

  4. in areal world situation, i never saw a difference with my mirrors or without on the strip.

strapping the front helps a lot, not as much if your front forks are lowered but some, lower helps too, both of those mostly for wheelie control.

dropping a tooth on the front sprocket helps your 60' times a bit.

clutch control is key.i like to pop it just a hair to jump off the line then get out of it as quickly and smoothly as possible without wheeling.

only use the clutch to get off the line, then speed shift the rest, adds about 2mph.

  5. People need to be able to distinguish the difference muscle soreness from

breaking down the muscle fibers, which will cause it to grow, once feed and rested. This will usually happen then day after and can last a few days.

lactic acid build up, the burning sensation when doing high reps, this is immediate.

joint/tendon pain. can be immediate or a few days later. Lasts a long time

muscle tears, usually immediate, lasts about a half a month or more depending on severity

i try to accomplish muscle breakdown soreness, as it is a good indicator that I worked out my muscles. others I try to avoid.

  6. since your just getting back into it you will be sore more then normal.

    eventually you will recover better

it is important to rest your muscles after a workout before working them out again, give then time to heal and rebuild, muscles dont grow when your lifting, but when your resting, so give them the rest they need to grow.

  7. gear fit well. could have been worse, never will know.

just pointing out gear wont make you invincible, like someone said.

so lighten up everyone for getting on someone who doesnt wear gear 100% of the time.

  8. dont know why people act like if you have gear on you are invincible, I got road rash pretty bad when wearing all my gear (full leathers) at 20-30mph not a bad wreck, during a deals gap trip. Didnt even tear the leather...

so all you gear freaks can ponder on that for a while......

  9. cool a few locals.

    IMAG0677.jpg

and picked up this 2006 yamaha R1 with 6500 miles.

so far its lowered with an adjustable link (need to raise it up a tad) integrated turnsignals, race baffles for the exhaust. might do a couple things to it, possibly get a fairing set like my 03 (black with red flames) as i loved that so much.
