  1. Did anyone make it to the Ohio Mile run this past weekend? This is strange, now I am getting email notifications where I wasn't before. I made no changes to my UserCP.
  2. Sorry guys, I haven't been getting email notification of replies from here so I didn't see the warm welcome from all of you. Here are a couple of pics of my ride before she comes apart for a full powder coat and prep for a run at the Ohio Mile where I believe I can take 3 class records. She will be sporting a full XRTT race fairing for 2 of the runs and one without.
  3. You think you guys have it rough. I have a 1032 which puts me in a class from 1000-1350 basically giving me no chance at a record. Your 500 is down by 150cc where I am down 318cc. The guy with the 600 shouldn't be too concerned as motor size rarely means that much in this type racing. I am the crew chief of the Nash Metropolitan that was the first in the 200mph club this past weekend at Ohio. While we are a "C" engine size our records have blown away not only our class but many records in classes above ours. I believe our car set the fastest time (219.94)this past weekend of all attendees. I heard one car went faster (221) but couldn't get stopped before running off the far end which should have resulted in DQ. We broke class records at Bonneville and Maxton last year and the new record at Wilmington this year in a car we took only 2-1/2 months to build from scratch. This LSR racing has motivated me to pull out my old Sportster Cafe Racer and set it up to go top end fast. Hope to see you guys at the next event here and at Bonneville. I am slightly disappointed in the ECTAs lack of results posted still on Tues. If they are posted anywhere can someone direct me to a link?
  4. Thanks for welcoming me to the forum. I am the crew chief of the Worlds Fastest Nash Metropolitan and owner of Creative Candy Custom Powder Coating. After setting LSRs at Bonneville, Maxton and being the first 200mph member at the new facility at Wilmington I have decided to resurrect my old 1962 Sportster Cafe Racer to see what I can get at both venues.
