You need to reserve your own rooms for each night, the hotels are in the second post.

aye Jim. I just didnt know if you reserved a few rooms for those of us going, then we pay for our own rooms that night!

  2. Ok I just booked my GF and I a room for FRIDAY Night in Beckley, WV!

(Its going to take us all day to get down there! 7.5hrs + time for gas stops, 2 food stops, 2-3 butt breaks are all REQUIRED for riding 2UP!

This way were FRESH for Saturday Mornings met/start @ that BP gas just down the road! :)

What about the other nights of the trip, did Jim reserve afew rooms that I will pay when we go to check in each night?

    Or . . .

  3. Review!

Well it came in the mail yesterday.

Just 20mins ago I finally tried it out! (Just got my bike back from the dealer for some service done)

It works good, seems pretty sturdy and well made.

Bottom line is, I recamend this!

It folds up to about 7" long, totally packs into a tankbag or one of my Givi's.

I'm happy with it so far!!! :)

  4. Geezz didnt see this effect would happen!

For the record, I simply wanted to share this item I came across while on my Ninja650 forum. In which a forum member said to me in a private msg they like the product, etc. As I was looking to get something like it to actually USE on my travels!

I just figured I would share this find in case anyone else was looking for a product like this to help oil their chain on their long travels! (unless you have one of those ScottsOilers).

In short, I'm not a friend or anything of the packjack dude.

I have ordered one and waiting for it to arrive! I will review it and those of ya folks that are interested in what 'IMHO' thinks can msg me, if your wondering about getting one!

Take care guys, hopefully see ya on the Deals Gap trip in October soon, or next years Spring Epic Ride!!!

  5. My GF and I are talking about maybe joining you guys on this trip! Going to see if we can clear off time from work to make this work! 300 miles 2UP p/day is doable for us on my lil 650!

    I will update soon as I can. . .

Heads up, folks. First rule of assisting a downed rider is traffic control. Nobody was there to warn you guys before that corner and it could have been bad news. Not sure how long he was down before you all showed, but just a quick reminder to those that are watching these videos.

Yep, soon after I pulled over (3rd behind hellmutt), I kept going up further. Looked back to see what everyone in our group was gonna do. Once I saw folks starting to stop/get off their bikes/helmets taken off, I then rode up the road to the NEXT corner parked off to the side and stood there ready to WARN others coming the other way to "slow down", etc!

I'm just glad that I was giving hellmutt & gxsr-750 guy 2-3 secs ahead of me in the corners JUST IN CASE shit like this happens, giving me extra time to make a split second decision!

Excellent riding with you man.  You definitely put work on that 650.    Apologies if you weren't happy with how we rode on 16 on the way home.  Just wanted to have some fun with the guys.  When I got to Coshocton, I asked the guys where you went and they said when we took off, you didn't come along.  Apologies if you were offended.

Thanks!  And nope, bunch of guys with Liter bikes, on the highway . . . you get that Itch and OFF ya go! Its NP man, I understood! :)

I just didnt feel like doing my bikes top speed of 135mph with a "MAYBE" of catching you guys and Risk getting a speeding ticket in Ohio! :)

I also noticed my GPS telling me my distance to home was growing. So I just turned around and started to head home from that point. No hard feelings at all guys!

I Had a fucking Blast. Those Straight Hilly sections, Dude my wimpy HP bike caught some wheelies cresting those hills hahaha Wooooooo! :D

Cool! My only issue is I tweaked my hand at work this past week and it's still a little sore. I might have to bail and slab it back home if it starts hurting too bad

Aye, you should be fine. We can trade war stories at the met, but I'm riding with a very sore Left knee. pain/soreness/tingling/numbness in my Left hand (been so for the last year). I wont let that get in the way of my riding!

Some days the soreness/pain is less, some days its more than normal. Just happens with age! I just hope that all that does NOT get so bad that I cannot RIDE when I'm in my 50,60,70's!!! :)
