  1. I thought about that. Maybe a digital Acewell, but those things are way too expensive. Don't know if I want to keep dumping more cash. I'd rather put that money to my new bike fund.
  2. The paint on the bike is actually Plasti-Dip, matte black. Cost $35.00 to do the whole bike. If I get sick of the matte black, I just peel it off and try something else. Great stuff. The Honda wing is a decal. As far as seeing in person, I'm usually at all the bike nights around town, Scoundrels, Quaker - Valleyview and Shefield, Prosperity in Tremont. If there are others let me know. Soon as the damn rain and cold goes away.
  3. Yes F2 forks with new Racetech springs and F2 rims. I'm glad people are digging it. It's my first street bike and took me two years rebuilding. One of the most stressful, but now fullfilling accomplishments in my life so far. Had to pull the engine twice since I was a noob and had to figure out things from scratch. A bunch of engine mods and the killer CR carbs. Put around 2000 miles on it last season and hope to do more the summer. Not much more to do to the bike. Maybe a different tail light and replacing some rusty bolts.
  4. Thought I'd post some pics I took recently of my ride. Getting ready for the weather to clear up. I did ride it last weekend for about 20min. to the grand opening of Cycle Gear in North Olmsted. Then it snowed and into the van it went. Anyone in need of some maintenance or bike work check out DC Moto in North Ridgeville. I wrench out there with the owner David Cook. Check out our Facebook page. Clean shop and cheaper than going to dealers for gen. maintenance, electrical, tire changing/balancing and more. https://www.facebook.com/pages/DC-Motobike/130863657064469

  6. Welcome to the site. I'm a Lakewoodian, and POC is a cool store. Excellent Moto G you purchased! They have a great selection of bikes there and I bought my wife a helmet there. Next season hit all the bike nights, I'm usually there with my 1982 985 Honda Supersport. Hopefully still alot of riding this year. A little cold now but that doesn't stop me. Take care.
  7. Hhahahaha. I see what you're saying, although I've never bedded swine, so.... Ok. If it was my only option, I'd ride a (gulp)... scooter. One of the best street riders in Ohio rides a scooter for his main bike now. He has nothing to prove to anyone on his rockets. I think the douche that comes along with the "popular" scooters is what bothers me. At the end of the day, it is what it is. Ride what you have, just don't be a knucklehead on the streets. Your ego isn't very good protection against pavement.
  8. I can appreciate that people ride the scooters, but they really annoy me. I'm sure you can trick them out, but the riding position alone says, "Sissy." Sure, sure, they're economical, you can make them fast, blah blah blah... I'm also very secure in my masculinity, so liking or not liking scooters has nothing to do with that. Thanks for all the welcomes. I'll be sure to check out what y'all are building. More into building and modding rather than, buying off the showroom and aftermarket. Now I'm probably going to piss off those riders...hahaha. It's all good. Except scooters. hahah.
  9. Gonna have to go with the midget. No one is messing with my junk besides me and my wife.
  10. For the last 3 years I've been primarily over at the www.cb1100f.net forum. Learning, rebuilding and modding my 82' CB900F. Thought I'd check out a forum of riders in my own back yard. Always interested in talking shop. If it has two wheels and a motor, it's always good conversation. Although if you have a scooter... I don't want to hear about it... haha. Looking forward to seeing what everyone's riding, modding, building, etc. Take care. EofA
