  1. You're making a lot of assumptions. Not that I can talk, I assumed all can am riders were twats.
  2. I'll admit I am stereotyping a bit. My opinions are mostly based on a few people that I ran into who ride those things. More than a little pretentious. Almost like "wild hogs " meets "the kardashians".
  3. I haven't been to a track in over four years... Actually , probably closer to seven. Last time was up at mcir. Even then I there were only a handful of bikes. Is it just not popular any longer? Seems to be a lot of store bought, bolt-on BS that shows up. Dad always called it "no talent horsepower" referring to a guys inability to create power without a turbo or a bottle.
  4. Since this is my second post I'd like to get an idea of the sort of people that roam the forum. Is this a can-am ghey backwards three wheeler, "I really thought spraying myself with Axe would get me chicks" type of place? I must admit that two thoughts go through my head when I see one going down the road. First thought...doucher. Second is why can't I ride a four wheeler down the road? I can't say a lot... I don't have a bike yet. But when I find the one I want it won't have permanent training wheels bolted to it. You might as well wear a shirt saying that your wife carries your nuggets in her purse.
  5. Hi fellas, ladies... My name's Ryan. I don't have a bike but I'm always keeping an eye out. I'm hoping to find a '77 KZ1000. I spent nearly every weekend of my childhood at Trails, Mt. Vernon, MCIR, Xenia...you name it. My dad raced a Kaw forever...damn near until he died. Wandered Bruce Sauer's shop many times as a kid while he and Dad did whatever they were doing to Dad's bike(I was a bit young to stay focused on turning wrenches). If we weren't there we were at another shop working on it. I'm 33 now, have a son of my own and am looking forward to turning wrenches with him. He is 3 and is always begging to come help me in the garage. I'm working on a boat project now, but when that is finished I'll focus my efforts on find that '77 KZ. I don't plan to make it a full blown drag bike, but I have seen a few bikes online and one in Bruce's old shop a few years back that were exactly what I have in mind. Something like this... I love that sound!!!
