Clearly we disagree about what a squid is. I was always taught that a squid is anyone who doesnt wear gear and rides in an unsafe manner.

You always hate to hear someone getting killed on a bike but when you read the article: 100-120 mph and the other bike fled the scene (which was described as a sportbike); you cant help but think, "squid".

Id be willing to bet 90% of the people who say Ohio sucks have never ever been here.

Go spend a few years living in Wisconsin, Minnesota or North Dakota and then talk to me about Ohio's, "9 months of winter". Id contend that native Ohioans dont know what a real winter is. Maybe its worse if you live in Cleveland or Toledo but I find winters in Columbus to be very mild.

I only hate Ohio on football Saturdays. LOL

Doubtful considering how big the console gaming market is. Im yet to see a tablet game that as in-depth as console games are. However, if Popular Science says so, then it must be true.

Personally, if money were no object or if I got an awesome job offer, Id love to live on the west coast, either in northern California or Seattle. It have be a heck of a job, especially if it were in California though. Ive got friends who live in Cali who make what I consider to be a lot of money and they still just barely get by. The cost of living out there is crazy. Thats one of the really nice things about Ohio: the cost of living and the houses are pretty cheap compared to other parts of the country. Honestly, thats one of the things that may keep me in Ohio for a long time.

Agree. I drive through WV a couple times a year and its a beautiful drive. I just dont know how people make a living there because unless you work at a university or work in a mine, what options do you really have?

I download all of my games to my PS4. I figure why buy a game that is going to sit on the shelf and collect dust when I can just download it and then delete it when Im done with it. For what it costs to buy a gaming PC, I can buy 2-4 PS4s/XBOX Ones (depending upon what PC you get).

I can think of states Id probably be more miserable in than Ohio.

Well, if they arent supposed to be owning guns in the first place, whats the problem? I mean, people like that make responsible gun owners look bad. Its not as if they are repealing the 2nd amendment.

Im just glad this latest snowstorm was only a few inches, instead of the 6"+ that they were calling for.

I saw that, it didnt look very good though. Its a gel that you squirt into the ends of the bars and its says its supposed to keep heat inside the bars. The one I linked goes into the bar clamp, which while more expensive would work much better, IMO. It does cost much more though.

Not sure if they make them for bikes but for snowmobiles you can get these things called, "Iso-Vibe" that is basically like a little motor that goes on your bar clamp and eliminates vibration. Kind of expensive though: http://www.gripnripracing.com/product_info.php?cPath=41_49&products_id=137

Never used it in a bike but used it in snowmobiles before and it did help a little bit.

The fact that they didnt respond to your email is probably all the answer that you need. Not answering was probably an easy way for them to say that they dont allow sportbike riders without actually saying, "we dont allow sportbike riders".
