  1. im not sure if there is a title for it. ill have to ask my dad about that. Ive had this thing for almost 20 years lol But that would be awesome to do, try to find some groms to play with after I'm done with it.
  2. Has anyone here ever built a mini-trail bike to be street legal? I have a 1970's, still need to check the vin, that I would like to build into a street machine. Engine, front and rear suspension, bars, the whole deal. I'm wondering about parts, where to look for them and any how to information you might have. Pic is what is sitting in my shed right now. Cleaned up a little bit.
  3. i did find this one. http://www.cycletrader.com/dealers/Addams-Auto-Cycle-824490/listing/2006-Triumph-Speed-Triple-111520604 My only concern would be if the title is clean and not rebuilt/salvage. It does say repaired and re-inspect-able but the vehicles in PA require an inspection every so many years before they will allow you to buy tags for them. Once i get the cash, i hope that would be before the bike sells, ill call them up and inquire further about the bike.
  4. Hello everyone, Im looking to sell my 03 zx6r by the end of the year (not advertising just the point of the thread) and i was considering going picking up a newer speed triple. The big motivation behind this i miss my 02 SV650 on the way it handled the bumps and crappy roads in NEO. It was down on the power that i really wanted it to have. Any input from people that own or owned speed triples i would appreciate input.

    Deals gap.

ive been planning this for a few months now. i just knew there is a OR takes over the gap thread.

    Deals gap.

So i know there are a bunch of you guys taking over the gap later in May, but i am going this weekend for the first time ever. Im camping out because I am a cheap ass and don't feel like paying for a hotel. Anyone else making it down this weekend?
  7. Is your FZ1 silver? i think i saw you out that way on sunday. There were three bikes, a green ZRX1100, a silver 03 ZX6R, and a 06 600RR
  8. The wait is worth it for the nice roads. But if they could hurry up on it, that would be great.
  9. Went out with my dad and brother into leroy and out to Willoughby hills/kirtland area. On the back roads down into some of the valleys and all that, the roads had a healthy dose of salt, even with all the rain. Not to mention how bad the pot-holes are getting. Looking like another wonderful construction season coming up.
  10. So i bought the ZX6r, the other deals fell through and i know i over paid but im happy with what i bought. Im already saving up incase the transmission isse does come up. It's much better than the SV in the performance area, but the comfort area sucks. Good thing ive been doing kick boxing and have decently strong legs and core so i don't kill my wrists.
  11. So, there were three bikes i was looking at. An 04 r6 with around 4k on the clock. That sold today. The guy with the CBR is just not getting back to me nor are they putting any effort to setting anything up. So i will probably be buying the ZX6R on Friday. Lets hope all goes well and i can score it for a decent price. Thanks for the input on this thread guys, i appreciate it.
  12. i am so glad i posted somethi im trying to get the cbr, but i am having a scheduling conflict with the seller. The ZX is my next choice if i cant get the CBR.
  13. the year 636 is an 03 with around 3000 original miles, the guy bought it for his wife new and she just never rode the things. Im pretty sure it has been sitting for a while so im going to beat him down on his price because of that and it has been dropped. I can knock it down there too. all that stuff about an oil change and the general maintenance that Bloodninja420 brought up as well. So a $3500 bike becomes a $4000 or more.
  14. i was just looking at the 636 again, the slip on is a hack job, and it was dropped with a dinged lever and bar end plus a small crack in the body work. but the guy is asking $4500 for the 636 compared to $4000 for the cbr.
  15. yeah, thats about the only fault i can find with the bike from what the guy has told me, but i am going to be going over it looking for anything that i can use to beat him down on the price.
