I'm currently running factory size 180/55 is changing to 190/60 a big deal? Also I noticed on the other tire thread you sometimes run a 200 rear? Did you get a larger back wheel? How did the bike feel? Are these tires newer? Or older? Are the tires still for sale? also I tired to message you and it said you can't receive messages.

So intermediate will be 2 groups running at the same time? I think if safety is the concern limiting to 25-30 people on track at a time should be implemented. Having 35-45 people running at the same time with 20 seconds difference in lap times is just straight unsafe.

So intermediate is a and b, but will be running together? Is there a limit to how many people per group. I recall a few days this year where there were close to 40 in intermediate , that is ridiculous.

Anyone know what's up with intermediate a and b? They running 4 15 minute sessions now? Looks like twilight is advanced and intermediate a only.....

Pm sent. And yes my brother in law races hare scrambles at western reserve. He didn't know anything about it more than they had a flat track.I see they race there but it doesn't look like they have any teaching/ practice.

Hey I was wondering if there is anywhere in ohio that teaches flat track racing? Or at least somewhere you can practice? Thanks

My question was what is the diffrence between a spool and standard lift. And if it will work on a single side swingarm?

Thanks, by the end of they day I felt like I was doing what I was supposed too. There was a much larger range of skill level in the novice group than I thought there would. I wont be there the 23rd but will def be back a few more times this year. Ill let you know and try and meet up before the day starts.

Well being just finished my first track days, My 2 cents, I was pretty stressed out the first few times on the track, My advice don't try to keep up if you cant. they have a bike on the wall for people that stuggle behind. You can get your own couch for a bit. I was supposed to be in a slow group 6 of 8. but it didn't feel slow to me at all, Just take your time and realize you can always go faster next time around.

Um they say S2, not sure if that is the race tire or not they came factory on my 2014 675r. Im sure I wasn't running them hard enough to keep heat in them. but they were relatively warm when I got back to the pits. Any advice as to the warmers if you thnk I need them, Really not wanting to break the bank but Don't want to rebuy a year from now due to buying bad ones.

Well I did all of Monday and went till lunch on Tuesday, I never dumped it so success on my goals for the 2 days. I felt pretty overwhelmed the first few sessions. I was in group 6 of 8 and a lot of trouble keeping up, but by the end of the day I could feel myself relax and actually start enjoying it. I have much to improve on but am pretty sure I caught the bug . I do have a quick question. My bike came with Pirelli diablo supercorsas. I was reading through roadracing world track directory and they said I should be running 29 front and 25 rear in those tires, as well as have tire warmers. I was running 33/33 not knowing any better. and Being my first time on a track didn't have tire warmers, Is this something I need to get sooner than later? I Didn't think I had any traction issues. but being new Short of the back end sliding out completely maybe I did and just didn't realize it. Any help would be great thanks. Awesome Suzukipilot I will also be In the novice group! Ill be in the silver ram and white 675. Also I think I have my bike just about ready. quick question. I removed the mirrors and tail chop. I just put blue tape over the holes, is that what everyone else is doing? also I removed the fuses for the lights, shoud I just leave the front turn signals in the body or should I remove those as well? I was just looking at moto series. Nelson ledges is much closer than mid ohio. Any of you do track days there? Also after reading through there forums. Is nelsons really in as bad a shape as everyone is complaining about?

My wife has a 26ft 3 horse slant gooseneck traile, with living quarters. Would this be to large for track days? I would still need a ramp and would probably get the pitbull restraint. But i could save hotel costs, since almost every track is hours away.

Well I have no problems renting a uhaul but it would be for 4 days. picking it up sunday and driving down, track day monday and tuesday, drive back and rop off wensday. From my phone it shows just over 2 hours drive time. I also am setting up a 2 day track day end of june at njmp. redkow97 what did you mean by dont trailer a bike to njmp? Both track events will be a 4 day excursion, most likely buy myself. The ramp he linked was as wide as the truck bed so it "should" be easy to get the bike up and down by myself. Also if I love it as much as everyone else does I will for sure get a trailer. but will probably be next year.

When its folded up go u put it next ti the bike? Or will it fit in the truck? That looks like a great set up. Dumb question...do u manually push the bike up? Or kinda ride the clutch walking next to it?

Which ramp do u guys use? And if i leave the taligate down will i need a bed extender?

So i Just measured the bike and truck bed. and the bike is londer than 6 feet.... Do most of you just leave the tailgate down? or do you guys normlly have 8 foot beds? Not sure now on transport, may need to get a trailer.

Any recommendations on hotels. As of right now im thinking june 9th and 10th.

May i ask how much it cost to rent a suit?
