I just bought the cheaper throttle lock off of amazon and it's great. It's not meant to be a constant throttle lock or cruise control but it's great to rest your hand for a little while. I've used it out on the back roads but not on the highway yet. To use it effectively I've found that it needs to be as flat as possible on the bar and not up near the thumb where the grip starts to curve. Very happy with the $20 purchase. http://www.amazon.com/2Wheel-Ride-GC-1-Motorcycle-Throttle/dp/B0055QOKC8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1403011775&sr=8-2&keywords=motorcycle+cruise+control+throttle+lock

Wow I didn't expect this much feedback haha. So let me ask this. Has anyone ever had to use their weapon in a self defense manner? or have even drawn the weapon in a situation before? I always see stats about how less than 1% of the entire CCW have ever been in a "situation" before but stats are usually bogus nowadays.

I had a 250 for a while. It was the most fun for 75 mpg.

welcome!

At that point its just a conversation piece but still that powerband would be impressive
-
I didn't read it carefully I thought I read 1500 cc. I was stoked to see a 1500 R1. That would be insane. nvm

I better try it loaded so I get the full feel for it. If I accidentally shoot myself I need to practice firing while bleeding lol

clinton county Motorsports has a few in stock.

Some people should stick to 4 wheels
-
That would probably be the quietest biker gang ever.

Thanks for all the responses. I might throw it in my tank bag for long hauls but for the most part I'll try to keep it IWB. I don't know how well I'll be able to grab it with gloves on but let's hope I dont have too
-
I've recently received my concealed carry permit. Does anyone carry and ride? How do you position your gun. I carry IWB but I feel this would feel awkward on a sport bike. Thanks
-
I guess I'm going to have to give it a shot thanks
-
That buell looks amazing. Love those bikes. Thanks I'm going to call and see if they might cut a line out kind of what you see on road bicycle seats to spread it out and allow more blood flow.
-
I looked on their page and there was no option for the gsxr series. I will call after work and see if they do custom work. Ideally I would like to have a center line cut out down the seat to help with numbness
-
does the seat help to keep you from sliding around and slamming into the tank? what about numbness for long rides? thanks
-
They don't offer an option for the gsxr
-
Where are you from? I'm straight west on 35 past dayton
-
I'm looking to buy a new seat. I have been looking into Corbin seats for the gsxr. Has anyone tried this brand of seat? I've read a lot about break in period and the seat being a lot firmer than the stock seat. I've noticed a lot of numbness and sliding around a lot on the stock 2005 gsxr seat. Thanks http://www.corbin.com/suzuki/sgsxr754.shtml

I'll be out this evening in the Dayton area. Probably around the Dorothy ln wal mart abd then to the Greene -
I looked it up online and they said the first throttle assist wouldn't fit my gsxr 750 bar.
