    Tire wear....

I fought with the same problem with both Pirelli and Bridgestone fronts at MO. No problems at any other tracks with either of them, but at MO, anything quicker than low :40's would chew them up. I tried about everything I could think of as it was getting way too expensive replacing them all the time. Dave Grey suggested trying stiffer front springs. That ended up being the fix for my bike. Going by sag numbers, the springs I have in there are too stiff for my weight, but they work. Not saying that's definitly your problem, but if you rule everything else out, it might be worth a shot.

    Midohio

Is that a new feature with the Sony cam? Or did you use a program to add the overlay after the fact? I've got an action cam and I don't recall seeing that option.
  3. Ahh, sorry, I missed where you said you already ordered it. I'm usually in garage 14 (grey Aprilia with red wheels) if you want to come check it out. But I hope the one you ordered does the job for you. Being able to analyze the data with any GPS laptimer is a HUGE help with seeing where you can drop time. I bought mine just because I thought they were cool. I didn't realize how much it would help. Swing by if you get a chance either way, we can compare some laps.
  4. I've got a Starlane Stealth GPS-2 I'm going to be putting up for sale. I'm just waiting for a Solo-DL to arrive. I assume I'll have it for the June 21-22 days at Mid-O. I might still need to use the Stealth for the twilight though. I was going to ask $200 for it, but I'll do $175 at the track as I won't have to box ship that way.
  5. I was just there this weekend. So far, that's not being enforced. During the riders meeting they said they just won some court case but they didn't go into any detail at all. Hopefully they get to stay open. The first time I was there was just a 'members day' and it was great. It was a pretty small group and I was getting multiple clean laps every session. The day was well run and not a single red flag. This weekend though, even though the calendar listed it as a Member's Day, it was actully a combined event with Team Promotion. I've only riden with TPM twice and both times they pulled the same crap... they ran four groups (two Int.) at 15 minutes each. Throw in some red flags and it kinda sucked. Advanced was sold out but it really wasn't bad at all out on track. It was just every delay in an already shortened session really blew. Anyway- I just point that out so you can try to make an informed decision when you're planning your trip. There was no mention of a combined event on the website or when I talked to them about signing up. Before I go again, I'll be checking TPM's and Tony's Trackdays website to make sure they're not going to be there. Nothing against either of those groups, it's just about the time on track.
