FB Marketplace is the new craigslist.
Good deals on there but lots of trash too in todays market.

Haven't touched my crypto since '17
Anyone on here hit it big?
Stocks getting smacked as of lately.
I definitely need to do some scalping.

Congrats! I miss mine..

Both Mark V's I've bought have been lowball offers that the sellers accepted. This green '79 I saw on CL (through AutoTempest) since the fall and hit him up in January after months of seeing it keep popping up. It started at $5k, then down to $3500 in January on CL and he accepted my offer for $2k.
There honestly is not much of a market for these land yachts...if you get one, buy it cheap and plan on not needing to sell it.
It's a hell of a car...they are simple/cheap to fix and great lookers on the road when they're clean.
Sheeeesh great deal.
Definitely going to keep an eye out on a keeper. Just sitting in those couch seats driving down the road in something that's almost new with those miles makes it totally worth it getting them so cheap.

Thanks everyone. Big day for me, that’s for sure.
Kerry- any time man. You let me know.
Mario- yeah, I’ve picked up 5 houses since the last post. Gross rental income is very strong now and I’ll have more time to focus on small repairs instead of paying people.
Good job dude.
I'm in a similar boat. Kind of.
Quit my full time job, but got another full time gig in Lexington KY while me and couple partners started our own business.
Feels like its about time to be out of the corporate life. Will be out by summer.

Interested in hearing the #'s now.
You at where you wanted to be or close?

Was in Chattanooga area last weekend.
Don't waste your money on that bum steep railroad car that takes you up the mountain.
Don't waste your money on that bum ruby falls tourist attraction.
Might be fun to go white water rafting or check out the smokey mountains.

Nah about 3,000 for a full rebuild with labor however when you still want over 12k I’m not a buyer closer to 8-10 on something like that is reasonable
Exactly
-
Found a local one with low miles but a blown engine still wants cash as if it was not in need of a full rebuild
Not bad. If the price is right then snag that thing.
My buddy who messes with these funky engines told me pricing for a basic rebuild from reputable shops and it didn't seem too bad. I'd honestly mess with it myself since everything is online these days and not many parts in a rotary.

Good looking out but no way in hell am I going multiple states away , pa ky Indy is one thing when all said and done I don’t have a 20+ hour gap in my schedule to take a adventure for a car that is not 100% and being 14-15 years old who knows what the underside would look like
I have found a couple within the state but it seems trying to get people to respond is the hardest effort. Usually if I try and sell something I don’t txt you once every 3-5 days
Gotcha, I know what you mean. I have few different ways of tackling the time to get these cars sometimes jumping through hoops.
I have an adventure ahead of me this weekend driving a car home from Kansas.
I had the exact same thought the other day I don't get why people post something for sale and don't respond??? I had mutual friends with a kid and got his phone number from someone and still no luck Lol people are dumb.
-
The 1994 with 97k got back to me and I saw he told me lowest he's comfortably go is 14k without a carbon fiber tail light cover.
In person cash is king so I can see him dropping it a little more.
PM me if you want his contact. Other dude didn't reply yet.
These cars require some traveling obviously or I would have bought both already.
This '94 I believe is in Iowa which is reasonable.
edit: If you aren't scared of a previous salvage and rebuilding/LS swapping this one in San Fran looks OK.
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/6478916403.html
If it's not sold in a week I have some friends that will be in that area and will check it out. If he can chop the price down I'll get it shipped home.

I found 2 very decent examples both clean title one hovering around 100k and one with around 80k clean titles and nothing major needed. One had paint fading but they were asking low teens cash.
Both ads are gone so I'm assuming they sold but will find out have to scroll back through texts.
edit:
1994 with 97k paint fading but nice car, title held by credit union asking 15k think I got him to 13k
1993 with 78k motor built by Atkins and professionally installed asking 14k think I got him to 12k
Will see if they respond to my texts

Binanace was down when TRX was surging so that might have slowed down your transfer. Someone sent me ETH to buy them XVG and it took about an hour.
Also Gdax is owned by Coinbase but there are NO fees when transferring to other exchanges when using Gdax.
Only downside is the verification of Gdax blows, at least for me.
I wasn't able to make a Bittrex account which blows since they are pretty large and not accepting anyone either.

All altcoins are trying to catch up to ripple
ADA, XML, XP, XBY, SNT
All shot up crazy numbers last few days and were on my ‘to buy’ list for a few weeks but I slept on them
My buddy is up 50k+ on Raiblocks
This stuff is weird but kinda fun

You or anyone you know have an AirBnB?
in Dumpster
Posted
Sup everyone,
Got a rental fixer upper in a decent part of town up north (Cleveland).
I was wondering if anyone had AirBnB experience and has feedback or advice for someone getting into it.
Realistically I could make double the income vs. renting the house out. I would also not have to deal with renters not paying, especially these days with all the hand outs.
AirBnB's require more communication and frequent cleaning but at least if something is broken, it gets taken out from whoever booked it those days.
I'd make the listing quality and it's pretty easy to see who the competition is.
Let me know your thoughts!
Thanks
Mar
