  1. I was in a daze one morning parking at work and forgot to put the kickstand down  .  I leaned the bike over and it kept going. I was parked text to a curb that locked my foot in as the bike pushed my leg and the rest of me over... Into the hedges. They were too soft to push off of and too hard to let me reach the ground. The entire front of our building was 2 stories of glass windows. Everyone must have been at the watercooler making coffee because I wriggled out before anyone saw.

I mount and dismount both from the left even when riding in left drive countries.

  2. I hate people doing that with their lawn clippings. I caught a neighbor using her leaf blower to blow leaves in her drive way from HER tree into our yard once. The wind usually did it anyway but kind of inconsiderate to think blowing them in our yard solved the problem. It doesn't, it just shift's it to someone else.

  3. I'm welding up a front wheel drive recumbent right now, Even the spanx wearing cyclists laugh at recumbent riders. Makes it more fun dropping them in a sprint though. representin'

Ride long enough to get chafing in your crotch once in normal clothes and you'll be willing to wear a tutu if it reduced friction.

  4. cops beating the shit out of them and killing them isn't the answer

That's a bit early to claim. We don't know why he was even apprehended, or what his history is yet. A big jump to lynch reporters with bricks and burn the city down.

The only injury on autopsy is the broken spine. He was conscious when he went into the van, tired from a chase, struggle and.being submitted yes. It looks to me twice in the video he actually moves his legs under himself. It's not uncommon for suspects or children to go ragdoll when forced to move. It's still possible he threw a fit in the van with metal benches while it was moving and had a self inflicted injury. There's countless videos of people in the back of cop cars slamming their own head against the window? Why? F if I know but I've seen the evidence and it is possible that's what happened here.

  5. You folks are blaming the wrong people. The Baltimore Police make the cleveland police look like angels. Do some digging, the history of abuse is long, disgusting and well documented.

There is a point were you do what you have to do.

Blaming B for attacking C is wrong because A attacked B?

The fact that there are 3 rivaling gangs in the city, maybe the police are products of their environment.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crime_in_Baltimore "Baltimore's level of violent crime is much higher than the national average"

For Baltimore, we found that the violent crime rate is one of the highest in the nation, Safer than 3% of the cities in the US.

  6. I used to use a painters ladder with ratchet straps. Borrowed the landlord's but it worked so well I grabbed one at an auction for a few bucks. Just make sure to chain the legs together so it doesn't do the splits under load. Can lift the front or rear depending on where you loop through the frame

  7. I had a pending move and let my OH registration lapse after winter. Went out for a short jaunt and was pulled over by a local in a car. He was a biker too and just gave me a warning.

On my SV I put on a speedo healer to make the speedo dead on. Was living in a city with speed camera's then.

  8. That blows. I always thought of them like the Shelby of motorcycles. Not sure how much of the business or how much of the design either Erik or Carroll did.

Hope no small suppliers fall in the domino pile as big banks seem to wrangle legal preferred creditor status.

It's sad how much marketing plays over product quality these days.

  9. Shorai here too. Its subframe was rear ended and shoved into the engine block in an SV. It kept going in a VFR which had a bad stator replaced the stator and kept running.

They actually crank harder and harder when it's cold as cranking warms them up. I left it for a month in the cold and was only idled the previous start, and cranked it so much I was weary of burning up the starter (so close) put it on a charger and right back tip top.

  10. My horse will be the person with the best idea...

So often they do the opposite of what they promise I wonder if you shouldn't vote for the worst idea.

  11. I've been taken out hard by car doors twice on a bicycle 1 driver door, 1 passenger door. It's a very quick stop. Once still wearing my leather moto jacket because I was cold after riding the moto home. Still got a scrape on the shoulder through the padding from the edge of the door. I'm more worried about the people not trying to hurt me, dumping out coffee, spitting. Also hit a pedestrian who jaywalked out from the front of a bus.

  12. If it's not a .gov email address no one in government should be replying to it with anything meant for an employee. Too easy to spoof a Hilarry.S.Clinton@CIinton.com ( the lowercase l in Clinton is a Capital I)
