  1. In CO there was an organization(MRA) that raced at the three "local" tracks.  They hired corner workers for the events.  It wasn't much money but it was a little something extra and it was fun to watch the racing.  Is there something like that local to OH?

  2. I'm not arguing about the escalation, only about the comment that he should be fired for enforcing a turn signal violation.

But that isn't at all what I said. I said if he has the free time to harass a citizen about a stupid turn signal he isn't needed.  I don't know how else I can explain this to you.

  3.  Yeah but you'll pay for it.

Cost of living, especially houses, is hard to believe here. Shitbox homes go for $250K and decent homes are upwards of $400K for a 3 bedroom, 2,500 SF place.

    Fuckin' unreal.

Haha I know.  We bought in '12, 4bd 3K sq ft for $250K and sold for a ridiculous amount last month.  Property taxes are stupid high in OH compared to CO though so that takes some of the sting out.  I would rather pay more for the house than pay more in taxes which rarely get you anything.

  4. It's called fishing. You know how many big arrests take place from bullshit traffic stops? I'm not saying if the cop was right or wrong to escalate the situation, but saying cops need fired for doing their job and enforcing traffic laws just doesn't make sense to me.

I never said he needed to be fired for doing his job.

  5. Or maybe she should follow the law and use her signals so he doesn't have to pull her over.

I don't disagree that she should have used her signal however if cops took the time to pull people over for that level of infraction they could do it 24 hours a day and still not get everyone.  It comes down to picking things worth the time.  If I am paying taxes to pay his salary I don't want him wasting it on a stupid signal.

  6. Thanks for the welcome everyone.  After posting this I was very busy with moving stuff and a trip to FL.  I don't recommend going there in July.  The bike arrived with the rest of my stuff on Monday so hoping to get out to stretch her legs a little in the next few days.

  7. I recently moved to the Columbus area from Denver for work.  No offense but I already miss the weather.  :(  I have been riding for about 10 years or so now.  I currently ride a Ducati Hypermotard.  I'm hoping to meet other riders and get information on events around the area. :riding:
