Sounds like a good time! Any idea on dates?

I ended up riding some trails on my DRZ. 2 minutes in, I jumped a log, while falling off the bike gave it some whiskey throttle, and chest planted into the ground. I heard a loud snap. Yup. I separated/fractured my ribs. I'm so fuckin bummed. I feel like between this weather and now my ribs I'll never get to ride.

Good Lord. Once you said "Orange" I realized it was a KTM. I feel like I just offered up a rice burner Honda Civic to a guy with a Ferrari Yeah I have 19" & 21" setup. I'm not sure what route I'll ultimately go. I don't know if I want to go over board putting money (wheels, calipers, forks, sprockets, etc) into my bike to be versatile, when maybe I can convince my wife I need a Husky 701? I didn't really think there would be dualsport tires worthy of the track. Pirelli comes to mind.

Thank you. Will do. I wasn't the biggest fan of Supermoto's for a long time. The thought of legitimate racing sold me though. It'll be a while until I get some 17's. Just spent a pretty penny last month on carb, cams, & MRD. My wife would stab me in the face if I bought wheels right now lol. If you ever wanna' swap bikes for a ride, I'd be grateful to see what I'm missing out on.

Weather looks sketchy until then. Who knows with Ohio. I'm in the Dayton area, but cool with venturing out. Looking for some cool routes, landmarks, etc.

LEO's are just like everyone else. Some are cool; some are assholes. To be honest, I've gotten away with going 95 mph in a 70mph. Parts of Montana have no posted speed limit... So I treated it like I was on the Autobahn. Being the day I ETS'd helped grease the wheels. I actually encountered a cool, asshole cop. I was on leave, speeding ( in a car) and a motorcycle cop pulled me over. He saw my decals. Told me he was "In the fuckin' Marines." and threw my I.D. at me like a ninja star. Then roared away on his bike. I appreciate you guys. You guys are "bastards" until you're needed. Be safe. And thumbs up on being a pilot. Ever skydive?

Thanks for the heads up! I have a S model. This one of the few times I wish I had a SM setup! You just gave me solid justification to spend more money!

I cut my teeth on Honda XR 200(225?) when I was a teenager. I got a DRZ400 about six months ago. I love it. I just installed a FCR and HotCams; it woke her up. I'm a Vet. I'm married. Have children. Just looking to find good people to ride with. Bonus points if you have an Enduro/SuperMoto!
