Sorry to hear about your fall. Hope you can heal up quick.
I've had a couple close calls there too. Once crossing the flat feeder stream above (before they built that boardwalk crossing above the Falls, I got to sliding in the muck and heading for the edge. Had to flop face down and grab for whatever I could get ahold of, and crawl back from the edge like a snail in the mud. Another time slid down the edge trail (probably where you were) in a crab-walk stance-feet flat, laying back with arms out behind at waist level acting as drag brakes. Luckily it was dry that day and it was a controlled slide. Was able to reach out with an outstretched leg and catch a tree or rock or something before I got down to the final drop.
Sounds like yours was a wet, mossy slip-n-slide at high speed. Probably no time to even realize whats happening until the damage is done.
Get Well Brother.

I've grown wary of mailboxes... lol. I've nearly hit my head a few times.
And trucks with towing mirrors sticking out 3 feet to the side.
At least you can duck under them.- 1

My brother and I went without checking if it was cancelled. Got there and the place was dead. Museum was about to close up too, but they let us in for a free quick walk-thru. It never did rain that day and was sunny when we were there. But it had "looked" iffy all day and the forecast had been so bad they didn't want to take the chance.
They rescheduled it for a couple weekends later, but we were both busy and couldn't go then. Bummer.

Bob I really wished I could go riding today as beautiful as it is, but I have my 2yr old today.
Somebody needs to invent a backpack with legholes to carry toddlers while riding.

Thanks if anyone knows any good roads around Marysville let me know. I'm originally from Cambridge area but after the service I moved to Marysville and I'm still looking for some decent roads to ride in this area.
Agree with o-no-moto's mention of 245. 245 from Marysville to West Liberty is great.
287 south/west from near the Honda plant is a great twisty ride. It meets up with 245 near West Liberty at the Civil War-era Piatt Castles.
East Liberty to Bellefontaine on County 10 has some nice elevation and switchbacks. Just as you come into Zanesfield there is a park with an Old West fort back by the creek. And just north of Zanesfield on County 5 there is a bridge with a 30 foot waterfall underneath. You can climb under the bridge and get close to it. I always thought that would be a great swimming place.
Just to the north of there, 540 east of Bellefontaine has some nice curves and long climbs.
Lots of Covered Bridges around the Darby Creek, North Lewisburg area and there is another nice one on Thompson Rd east of Marysville, near Ostrander.
South of Plain City, Georgesville Rd/142 is nice down to West Jefferson, with some Metro Parks and a big suspension bridge on 3-mile creek on Lucas Rd. Then further south into the Battelle/Darby Creek Metro Parks area is nice, with lots of stopping places and hiking trails. Great stuff all down thru Darbydale/Harrisburg/Orient area.

That doesn't look like any windows error message I ever saw. I'd be thinking its malware trying to trick you into snapping QSO code with your phone for more info and then infecting your phone too.
