Ohhh it hit. Didnt know that. In my theoretical world I would have bought the car and immediately wanted the stock hood on it before leaving lol
Come over and buy the car...I'll make you a deal.
-
So wait...the car has no hood now? Lol
The car has a Cervinis 3.5in cowl hood painted matte black.
https://www.cervinis.com/94-98mustang-3incowl-hood.html
I sold the OEM hood I had hanging on the wall.
-
I think that selling off the hood was a mistake, but nonetheless, hell of a car for 6500!
I hear ya and I did struggle with it. I helped the guy put it on his car and it really made a huge difference on his ride. He had a terrible Clear coat peel happening that was a real eye-sore.
The hood made contact with the trick flow intake...you could shut the hood BUT it was against the intake....no bueno.
I liked the idea of it going to make another SN95 car look great instead of just hanging on my wall.
And there was the $275 he paid me for it...

So.... A gentlemen came over last night and bought-
Bullitt Fuel Door
Bullitt Wheels/tires
Stock Hood
MGW Shift knob.
So now the car is riding on Stock 95GT tri-bar wheels with some really old miss matched tires. Black Hurst shift ball(still has MGW shifter), factory Laser Red fuel door.
I'll take $6500 cash for the car like this until I buy new wheels for it. I removed the craigslist ad since the pics will be different with the old wheels.
I feel like this would give someone the ability to buy the car cheap and put the wheels of their choosing on it.

I'm assuming there's a stock cam in it? I'm trying to convince my brother he needs this...
No there is a trick flow stage 1 cam in it.
it has a street burner top end kit...

The guy that built the car didn't like the trick flow valve covers.

Bump....price drop.Just put 50miles on the car Easter Sunday, runs like a champ.
-
I too just started riding and also nervous about getting on the freeway. The responses in this thread about freeway riding being safer make a great case for it.

What clutch is in the car?
I’m not sure? But it’s tight and feels similar to the McLeod street pro i had in my ‘95 Cobra.
-
I also messed with the turn signal...went from Amber lense/Clear bulb to Clear lense/Amber bulb....I used stealth bulbs that appear silver and light up Amber.

Factory deleted ac?
No. The previous owner that built the car deleted it. I have all ac components that go with the car.

Lifting the tank allows you to tuck the main wire harnes up under the tank. It also provides more airflow around the engine, and giving it that old school flavor.
You can see the plastic wire cover on the box behind the bike. It hung down between the “backbone” and engine.
Exhaust does not sit on the peg.

She's a beaut, Clark.
It really is a nice car... the interior is immaculate. Typically these cars are laser “pink”.....this one is actually Laser RED still. It was loved.

Omg spell check killed my first post... lol

So I think I've found a great deal... 2015 Vulcan S with 402mi.....$3500 but the guy has a loan balance.
He wasn't to take my money and give me the bike and then send me the title later one.
Thoughts on this transaction for protecting myself?
