I forgot to update this thread... Gander Mountain is no longer having a GunSmith program at the store in Hillard according to Matt. He said I could bring my gun back mid month in February and at that time they may be able to send it to the twinsburg OH Gander. I have no problem paying Taurus to fix it, I'm just unsure of the process of mailing a gun? Can it just be sent back like an auto-part etc? Or would I have to take it to a dealer?

I guess it's worth a try.

A buddy of mine took apart a Taurus .38 revolver and polished the cylinder (shitty) then couldn't get it back together correctly. The cylinder won't spin when the trigger is pulled and it feels "notchy" when the trigger is pulled etc. Anyhow said broken gun is now mine..for free:D So...do I figure out a way to ship it back to Taurus? or should I take it to gander mountain to the guy mentioned in the "Columbus Gunsmith's" thread? Any advice would be appreciated.

11.25 is moving out! I ended up trading my blue GT, selling the parts and getting a TBSS and an older '05 gt with higher mileage...to eventually turn into a dedicated drag car.

After reading all this...I'm really bummed you didn't keep the dog. A beautiful dog wondering up on your porch out of thin air and staying kind of a fate thing. Call the people and ask for him back. They'll understand.

I just bought one, in a pinch, for my new-to-me GT from Advanced and it was $95 w/core...I about shat myself when he told me. Glad to know that's the going rate.

Looking for a local shop that can lay some vinyl stripes on one of my Mustangs...No I don't care that paint looks better, I like to change things up from time to time and like being able to remove vinyl. I want these stripes to go over the hood, roof and front/rear bumpers. Thanks.
