I'm sure that's not the "fully equipped" price.

I'd rather have this than a 'Vette any day. The Shelby is only $100k fully equipped. I'll take two . . .

No, you will still be a criminal. Music headphones are not part of this law. Yours is a misdemeanor. Wonder how that will look on yo8u 3 year background check!
You are correct about the legal aspects of the law you (and I) reference here, but the ODE is focused more on egregious "misbehavior" on the part of state-licensed teachers. ODE has much more to worry about than someone who plugs his ears while riding the highways on a moto, but I am left wondering if there are any laws prohibiting the use of ear plugs in the classroom. Gawd, what a celebration that would be if it were overturned . . . Durk? Anything to add?

Thanks, Tim. Your opinion seems to have resonated with many of us 🍹 Shame on you, Brian!

fuck you guys, I liked being an outlaw ear plug wearer. don't take that from me.
Serpent, I wear Shure in-ear headphones. Nice music, enough "room" to hear horns, sirens, and other sounds necessary to keep me safe and aware of my surroundings, as well as adequate protection against wind noise. PERFECT. A hundred bucks, but priceless when riding. The law will be changing soon and we will be "legal." No doubt.

Exactly, and your new favorite. Asparagus. Asparagus and hollandaise is wonderful.
I absolutely love a good rare steak with crab or lobster--AND aparagus, mushrooms, and either hollandaise or its more complicated and equally delicious cousin bearnaise sauce. Veal Oscar is my favorite dish to make when I have LOTS of time.

well... I tried on many gloves. Left undecided. Bought the above for $12 figuring they might suck but could use the for the quad if so. They work, comfortable, and actually weather, wash well, and have protection in the right spots. Decent glove. Don’t let the price fool you.
Looks like they're not leather, but if they save your hands even once you've saved a bundle. Better than nothing.

Since it was a million degrees here yesterday and humid AF, I went online and researched this ancient tire thing. I found several shops that do this around the U.S., but nothing advertised locally. You may end up having to ship tire and rim to get this done.
BTW, you may encounter resistance if you don't buy the tire(s) from the mounting shop doing the job, and they're pretty pricey, i.e., several hundred bux each.

They have been identified and there are warrants for their arrest.
Wonderful news! Somehow I missed seeing this.

From my (recent) experience with my brother's late model HD, you'll likely wait longer for the job to be completed at a local shop, and the hourly rate will be similar to that of a dealership.
Have you looked at YouTube videos? The repair you describe should be relatively simple to fix as there is little in the way of diagnostics, e.g., the problem is pretty straightforward--and common to vehicles with small engines.
I would check online to ascertain whether the part or parts needed for the repair are available, and set aside some time (your time costs you nothing) to make the repair. Additionally, you may want to check out the following sites: lilhonda.com, and planetminis.com. Both deal extensively with ATVs and minibikes; there are MANY experienced hobbyists willing to help with technical issues.
Hope this helps . . .

Why not take it to a dealership? What brand is it?

unburned fuel in the exhaust can be a backfire when and if it detonates.
This happens with my John Deere tractor quite frequently, to the point where when I'm done mowing and shut off the ignition, I'm actually surprised when it doesn't backfire *loudly* a few moments later.
We are taking Steve's bike up to the Mentor HD dealer tomorrow morning. I will be sure to post what their mech says was wrong with it after we get it back.
