  1. I thought about it, because those were winter rims and din't really care. But, shredded tire moving at those speeds can certainly damage the body of the car and that's a risk I didn't wanna take. Not to mention I was already at 240* coolant temp and 220* tranny temp since I was holding the RPMs at 6k the entire time. I think I got the point across Oh, I will also point out it was brought to me attention that some individuals were running their mouths about me winning the WB02 and taking first in the burnout contest. 1) Next time, you can take your complaints up with me personally instead of behind my back. You're fucking retarded if you think it won't get back to me. 2) What did you bring to the table? I know for a fact that at least one person raising a major bitch-fest was another participant. There's video of you too, with NOTHING even close to what I accomplished. If you're still in doubt, I will throw all the videos up in a poll to CR for best burnout and let people choose here too to supplement the people present at Advance. That's all I have to say on that subject.
  2. Ha, I shoulda deflated them a bit more for more smoke.
  3. Seriously, any longer and I would have popped the tires :grin2:
  4. That's kept clean and buffed by the dog's tail from Hell
  5. Lol, about time. I knew my new car couldn't be kept a secret for long
  6. It was. Brian stated on several occasions where the "box" was and where to stage the vehicles.
  7. Will is also a lazy ass and has yet to get me info although he paid his Sponsor fees a month ago
  8. http://newsite.michaelrighi.com/2007/09/01/arrested-at-circuit-city/ I think after seeing the laws posted: 1) He was right in denying Circuit City the right to check his bag without any indication of shoplifting. They can only perform a check with consent of the consumer unless an indication of shoplifting has occurred. 2) He was right to refuse to show the officer HE CALLED his driver's license since he was not operating a motor vehicle. State law only provides for stating your name, address, and DOB. Yeah, it's a bit extreme what he's going through for a simple bag check. But, it's also bullshit what he's going through because he refused to be put down by the system.
  9. Not true, he didn't leave it alone. He subtlety hinted at wanting to know more...
  10. Ha, I knew you were on here somewhere. Thanks Jim, and now I can place a face with the name and the car. It happens with as many people as I see every weekend I won't be doing those kind of burnouts in twenty years when the car becomes a "classic" like yours, so I may as well have fun now while I can
  11. I do too (6hp Honda, 2800psi, with deck scrubber), but my dad has it right now and it was 12:30am when I rolled out.
  12. Man, that sucks. I hope you have something like a Judge that replaced it
  13. Oh shit, yeah. You ever gonna come to Advance? If I can drive my ass out to Hilliard from Reynoldsburg, you can make the drive from Westerville. Follow Hal.
  14. You just suck, Hal. Do you see dead people, too?
  15. So this should probably be moved and redirected to, "So how is Greg doing?"
  16. People were reminded I dunno how many dozen times, emails were generated by the thousands, word-of-mouth, etc. There was plenty of notice.
  17. Mark, I feel so bad for ya. I kept mine in one spot (sorry about the holes). It's the other burnout newbs
  18. He signed on AIM the other day for like a minute and back off. I know some people still talk to him now and again.
  19. All that work and only one pic? Man, you slack so hard
  20. After a long three months of raffling, the CR Summer Raffle was closed with a whopping 24 tickets of 100 sold. This means the winner gets a $120 gift certificate towards tires or services at NTB. The winner is Daniel MacIsaac aka Ferris7890, so Daniel will be contacted to claim his certificate. A random number picker was used to decide the winner, as seen below: http://www.cr-h.net/pics/raffletickets.jpg http://www.cr-h.net/pics/rafflewinner.jpg Thanks to everyone who participated. I hope if we do another raffle in the future, we get an increased amount of entries for a bigger overall prize. Thanks again.
  21. No, you're about spot on. In relations, she also used a lot of favors from people as well, from rides to borrowing money, etc. One of the biggest people taken for a ride was Bad Ass Black Buick, he got hosed pretty bad for being such a nice guy.
  22. I won the WB02 by completely destroying a pair of tires with a 1+ minute burnout down to the belts, making the brakes glow red, cracking my rear rotors in two places each, throwing rubber about 30' behind me, leaving craters in the parking lot, and stopping traffic on Hilliard-Rome Road I also hit 220* on my tranny and spit a bit of fluid Not sure of the gentleman's name, but he owns a nice-ass blue Mopar and won the winter lawn care package. Amy won the oil changes. Video will be posted
