APR took this 2016 RS7 and added 135 HP and 202 Trq with just a Stage 1 tune. Tuned numbers are now 667 HP and 746 FT/Lbs of Trq with 849 FT/Lbs available on race gas [emoji41][emoji41]

Welcome back Jeff! You are just down the street from me once again, I'll have to swing out here next week and say Hi. Good to see you back in the aftermarket business and good luck with the venture!
Edit: Looks like all the fun stuff of Columbus is getting concentrated up here in the NW corner now
Thanks!
Yeah, stop out and say Hi and we will catch-up

Welcome Jeff! Recently had my nephew in for an Audi purchase. Thought you might like to see what he's done with it so far...LOL...
Thanks! Very cool (I thought it was PS for sure) wrap -- I'm sure that thing turns heads now

Matt Harbold
Last time I saw him he showed me a pic of an investment Slantnose Porsche that he bought. It was pretty sharp
I've worked with Matt a few times already -- good guy
I talked to him about his 911 but since it is December I haven't seen it yet either.
Jeff
-
Jeff, congratulations on the new venture!
PS: did you get to talk to Julius about clear bra and paint correction?
Thanks and yes I did. He called me back and just waiting on pricing from him now and we are all g2g.

I don't believe the guy we worked with works there any longer. Dominick was his name I believe.
I"ve been passively shopping for a replacement for the turbo since it recently got destroyed...this one keeps grabbing my attention :-)
http://www.toybarncars.com/pre-owned/porsche/911/2014-white-turbo-2677938.html
That thing is gorgeous. It has been parked out front a lot so its nice to stare at a few times a day
If there is anything I can find out about it for you let me know,
Jeff
EDIT: All I see is that it was traded in on a McLaren and it made it through service without anything major being wrong / needed.

Nice to see the Toy Barn going into the performance side of things. My cousin's fiancé is in sales there.
Good luck!
What's his name?
Jeff
-
What?! Toybarn now has APR? You and I had discussed this in the past and APR was not willing to add another Columbus location. Either way glad to hear you are doing APR.
Do you guys charge labor for the tunes like some APR dealers? Will you be stocking APR parts (downpipes, intakes, etc)?
I do not charge any labor for the tunes since I am doing them and labor for the parts side of things will obviously vary by the part and car. We are not stocking any specific part #s yet until we see what the market dictates but we are not opposed to stocking anything if we need to (To cut lead times etc etc).

I am ordering two sets of Hellcat headers today so if anyone is shopping and would like to get free shipping (I will just have the whole order ship together) let me know and I will get you a quote.

APR's 10% discount on tunes is going on but is only good until the end of the year. If you want to check out if your car is supported and then power gains and such go here:
http://www.goapr.com/products/
If you want to get with me about scheduling a tune or have any questions email me at: jeff@toybarncars.com or call at: 614-799-5000.

Good luck, Jeff!
Toy Barn has built a robust brand and a loyal fanbase - having a performance avenue will plug well into that market.
Thanks!
-
Jeff, congrats on the new venture. I wish you the best of luck over there.
I'm not really a dealership guy, I've purchased 1 car EVER from a dealer and that was our 997 TT which came from Toy Barn. I was really pleasantly surprised with the whole experience buying through them.
Thanks
With the "Built-in" client-base that buy/sell performance or modified cars all the time here it is a perfect spot for a performance shop so I couldn't be happier
Glad to hear the 997 purchase went well -- who did you work with on the sales side of things? I don't get over to the Barn very often but starting to know most of the guys already.

I am sure the vast majority of you have heard of us but for those that have not you can check out the website here:
The "Performance & Tuning" tab is getting added soon as that is now complimenting the general service / maintenance work we have done for years.
Since the Dyno isn't here yet I started setting up all our European tuning accounts and so far we have:
Dinan for BMW
BMS for BMW
APR for Audi / VW / Porsche
RENNTech for Mercedes / McLaren / Rover / Lambo / Ferrari / Bentley
Cobb for BMW / Porsche / Mitsu / Suby
I have spent the first couple weeks getting all the most commonly requested parts accounts set-up so that we will be able to offer competitive pricing on just about everything.
A very cool aspect to doing performance upgrades and tuning here is that many clients have already worked them right into their financing so they get the car exactly how they want it right out of the gate and it can all be done with one payment.
For general service work we do take walk-in clients every day and like most service-oriented shops we do everything from oil changes and alignments to advanced diagnostics and engine / transmission swaps. Collectively the techs are Audi / Bentley / BMW / Mercedes / Porsche / VW certified and since we service the cars we sell they see a lot of them.
Any questions feel free to post here or call me at the shop any time at: 614-799-5000

So the photographers light was behind the chain link fence? Is that what Im seeing?
I was wondering the same thing (Looks like it). Shadows are distracting if you are critiquing the photos but the car looks great.

With those 3rd party warranties you will most likely have a ton of hassle if you do ever make a claim. I would pass on it or find a different car.
Some suck and some are actually legit.
IIRC the one that ToyBarn pushes was pretty good. We deal with them all the time here and the claims person either goes out of their way to find a reason why whatever is wrong isn't covered or the better companies may ask a question or two about why this or that but pay as written.
I know they have saved many of our clients 2-3x what they paid for the warranty on BMW / Mercedes / Audi's they bought used and then kept 4-5 years.

Now hopefully people will better understand the benefits of Fast Glass, ei.....f/1.2 to f/1.8 lenses and Full Frame Camera systems.
I love the "3D" look so that is what I go for most of the time. These were shot with a higher shutter (Probably 1600 or so) with my 70-200. Since it was a blah overcast day I am sure they were at 2.8
While not dirt-cheap you can still pick up a Siggy or Tamron 70-200/2.8 for $1000 on an entry-level FF camera (D600 / 6D / A7) and get 95% the same results.

needed one of these lol

They have the 2-seater Jeep but it is slower than hell and almost impossible to wreck

Whats wrong with wanting some sound out of your daily. People buy exhausts everyday for this exact reason.
I have always been a fan of borla exhausts. Reach out to one of the shops on here like ips, they usually can get it cheaper then buying it on your own. Worth a shot to save some money.
I'm not quite as deep with Borla but nobody is beating my price on Magnaflow.

They won't allow anything longer than a 3" lens. I dont have gear that small except a my 35mm prime. Even my 85mm L Series prime is longer May be buying a Sony 700mm Q Series one that clips on my phone and just keep it in my coat pocket. Maybe I can sneak that in. Can return it if I don't use or like it? IQ from it is equal to thier RX 100.
I'd rent the Nikon 1 V3 with the new 70-300 lens. I think it is like 4" but on a camera that small I doubt anyone would be breaking out a ruler lol. That gets you out to 800mm with pretty decent AF.
