    What type of acts/crowd are you anticipating?

     

    So far I know of 6 people commited to come play. Skill levels range from "very serious and in a band" to "singing for the first time". Kind of a wide range of stuff is being played so far as well. Anything from SRV/Hendrix, to Chilli Peppers. The Beatles, Neil Young Pearl Jam, The Cure. etc.

     

    Any kind of music is welcome. I think it should a be a really good time. The object is not to have a bunch of snobby musicians judging each other, but to just have a good time. I am even doing some lead vocal duties on 1 or 2 songs, which is a new experience for me. So don't be expecting perfection from anyone :)

    Where - Largo's Tavern, 6159 Glick Road, Shawnee Hills, 614-791-1734

    What time - 10pm -1am

     

    A friend and myself are hosting an open mic night every Thursday starting the 12th. There will be a drumset mics, and PA set up. Bring your guitar/bass and come play a few songs.

     

    Please try and come out the 12th so we can make sure we can keep this thing going.

    BTW I feel sorry for all of you that are posting in this thread instead of being outside, or spending time with you family.

    and yeah telling you my kid was in the car was just so people i dont really know, will give me sympathy b/c i have no friends at all.

     

    I thought that was the purpose of this entire thread?

    What you fail to realize is that you have allowed the person in the 300zx to own you. On many levels. So much so that he controled you enough to go post a thread about him on the internet.

     

    Your initial thread mentioned nothing about you have your wife and child in the car, and posting it after the fact looks like a cry for sympathy and acceptance.

     

    I still extend you my empathy, and the offer for the hug still stands.

    see jackass, this wouldn't have bothered me as bad if my wife and 3 year old daughter wasn't in the car. i shed a tear if i ever run accross u cuttin me off and my kid is in the car. not something i take lightly. sounds like ur as big a jackass as him.

     

    I was trying to show my empathy for you. Maybe I should show it with a hug instead.
