  1. Leasing is a waste of money compared to most buy scenarios. If car renter is ok with that, no problem. If it's a company car, done deal, but not if I'm paying for it, hell naw. To me it's just another way Americans can "buy" more than they can afford. But hey, we'll all forget the financial melt down and the role of the American consumer soon enough. What role you say? Point already made in that case... When are they going to give credit cards away like candy again, I need a few more, the ones I have are full... need to pack that debt up, slice it into nice little packets, sell it overseas, and get my cards refilled, cause this is uhmERICA!

  3. Well which one is it? Knowing is half the battle....
  4. I just had my neighbor start the car very briefly - some belts are off, trans lines broke, etc so we didn't let it run but it did start. I notice the offer declined from $400 to to $250 LOL. My neighbor and I will be around from 10am to 12 tomorrow for anyone who wants to come by. Otherwise it will be gone Monday. If you want the address PM me and I will send it to you later tonight. ~Alex
  5. It's funny that all the guys on the LWRC forum I'm on have ACOGs, and then you actually get out the range or visit a shop and see nothing but scopes. I dunno if the forums are full of wannabe military guys, or military guys, but seriously, for what I use my AR for a traditional optic makes so much more sense. That being said, I would love to have the bonus holo sight mounted on top of or on the side of my scope for Hot and Heavy inbound close range predator action!
  6. Holy sheisters, are these things that cheap? It's the time of year to buy bikes dammit!
  7. For the whole car, yes... http://www.vodenproducts.com/car/DSC01071 http://www.vodenproducts.com/car/DSC01072 http://www.vodenproducts.com/car/DSC01073 http://www.vodenproducts.com/car/DSC01074 http://www.vodenproducts.com/car/DSC01076
  8. It Starts! LOL.... I am posting this for my neighbor whose daughter wrecked her car on the way back to college this weekend. So, my goal is to help my neighbor and hopefully someone on the board who might be able to use this car for something. It is not to get into a phone / email forwarding / scheduling nightmare The car is a black 6 Cyl. 1999 Mustang Coupe, approx 76k miles, front impact. The driver said she had to turn the car off after the hit, ie the engine was still running. I'm not sure if it restarts or not. Frame appears to be toasted, I think the engine / trans and a bunch of other stuff should be salvageable. As far as scheduling, let's plan on Saturday morning / early afternoon for now and if there's interest I'll let my neighbor know. Car is located in Dublin. He was offered $250 to have it towed away, SO, offers start there and move up. Buyer will have to tow it away. I'm doing this just as a favor for him, no sales commission for me LOL. PICS BELOW.
  9. I realize this is Ohio but I figured I'd see.... I'm looking for a shop that builds 4WD parts like bumpers & rocker guards. At this point, someone who does it rather than can do it... This is what I'm looking for... http://www.rocky-road.com/rockrail.html This company would build me a set to their standards if I could leave my truck with them for a week, but they're *ahem* in Utah. Oh, and the reason I don't just order them is because I own a stinkin Montero Sport, and nobody makes crap for it LOL.
  10. What are C55 AMG's doing with similar bolt ons? I sometimes get a hankerin' for an auto sled...
  11. Sweet as hell. I'm planning a trip to Texas with my Dad as well, and for the very same purpose. Is your guide a friend/acquaintance or for hire? PM me if need be.
  12. Hilarious. It could be that they're mid-turn before pulling into the wheel well thingys, or it could be the cocaine....
  13. Yikes. Horrible, horrible luck. "Racing is dangerous" is about the only statement that makes sense in a case like that, as stupid as most one-line statements are...
  14. How about something actually sexy... like say, a Ducati 1098?
  15. It was probably my dick. I've been looking for it....tell it to come back if you see it blocking out the sun again.
  16. I'd be willing to do some "light 4 wheeling" with you. (In quotes cause "light wheeling" always turns into "heavy wheeling). I know a place on the bottom of 270 and have a heavy duty strap, D ring for the hitch, etc for if/when one of us gets stuck. You can PM if you'd like to go perhaps Tuesday or Wednesday night. Hell even tonight if you want.
  17. Wow, glad you're all right. I've had good tires ruined by construction nails and crap about 3 times, but never did it fail fast. Thank God it wasn't the front that blew on you!
  18. Riden it and driven it. It's safer in a car due to gravel, which varies depending on conditions but is always present. The advice above is correct - it's fun, but be careful, there are decreasing radius turns, dozens of blind rises, and almost every corner is blind But as long you're careful, it's a crazy fun road.
  19. Sorry I didn't make it dude, I forgot / my friends were wishy-washy about it but I got roped into helping them move today... anyone checking the board on their mobile is 1) geeky as hell 2) going to tell me where the after party's at
  20. Except there isn't shit on it LOL. Calendar indeed though... have just been thinking that the last few days, a calendar with all automotive, shooting, and night time events calendar. Except only the good stuff I would want to go to, not a fag tag calendar for Short North homo-vents of course...
